I've had better HP all in one's
- Pros: It's HP, it's fairly quiet, it takes up just a small space and puts out ok prints.
- Cons: Ok, it has real issues with accepting paper. It either jams or just won't pick up the sheet or it will pick up 4 or 5 that are slight staggered. This happens about 80% of the time and is really annoying. I've never had such terrible results from a HP printer when it comes to every day simple use. This thing is feed challenged :)
- Other Thoughts: Was a huge HP fan until this thing. I don't know if they tried to save some bucks by not having a infeed and outfeed separate or what but holding it's hand has gotten real old.
Mine came with a black cartridge
- Pros: Good color rendition. Descent color and b&w copies. 4x6 prints don't seem to use much ink.
- Cons: Instruction manual doesn't tell how to enlarge or reduce copies or scans. Installs too much software using default software installer.
- Other Thoughts: I ordered 2 of these. Both came with black cartridges. Don't forget to order an USB cable; I ordered a 10 ft. cable. I can't comment on the scanning capability of this model, but the resolution specs make me think that the scans should be as good as the photos it puts out. Remember, larger prints use more ink.
Decent, cheap printer
- Pros: Affordable, good scan and print quality
- Cons: Frequently fails to feed paper correctly; the wheels spin and it says that it's empty when it isn't.
