1 out of 5 eggsWant to save time?

Pros: cheaper, look pretty good

Cons: awful HP software
you can't keep the wireless connection, only usb work sometimes
bad print (look more like on draft mode)
malfunction all the time, and need you to reinstall again, again & again
1 egg for Newegg exception delivering services

Other Thoughts: I spent more time try to make it work rather than using it. Do yourself a flavor, get something else if you want to save time.
I had 4 HP laserjets, 2 HP & 1 Epson inkjet for the pass 15 years. Only the older model work day to day. The most recent 3 units are all basically junk.
I urge HP to make better softwares, which I believe is the problem.
The get around I have now is only install the basic driver, and have windows handle the res of the printing & scanning work

5 out of 5 eggsGreat printer

Pros: Fast prints, Long lasting cartridges when you set the defaults to FAST/ECONOMICAL setting, everything works just fine right out of the box.

Cons: Takes a long time to set up.

Other Thoughts: Even if other reviews say set up is hard Its NOT, the only bad thing is that the driver and HP utility installation takes a long time but it does the job of setting everything up right. However once the printer is set up you will never have to tweak again over time its always ready to print, fax, scan. Overall for the price it is the best printer you can get.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent for the price

Pros: -Low price
-Wireless print/scan
-Decent quality

Cons: -Ink doesn't last very long and is expensive, but that's to be expected.
-Set-up can be difficult if you don't know what you're doing. Wouldn't recommend to those without networking skills.
-Bloatware (see below)

Other Thoughts: Don't bother with the bloatware that comes with this. Go to HP's site and get the "HP Officejet Basic Print and Scan Driver." Works great on Win7 64-bit.

You can also use Bonjour if you only want the wireless print feature, but you need HP's drivers if you want to use wireless scanning.

1 out of 5 eggsFrustrating!

Pros: Prints nice and it is almost wireless.

Cons: Where to start? If you want a wireless connection, it is only good for printing. I cannot get HP's drivers to complete installation. It detects the printer, shows the printer's IP address, even detects the model, then on the last stage of installation it says "Cannot detect printer". I have been using the drivers from Windows Update. I am going to buy a USB cable tomorrow to see if it will help my problem. Even the wireless connection has to be reset now and then. The printer will be on, but it will show "Offline", so you have to reinstall printer drivers, or fiddle around with it for an hour.

Other Thoughts: I'm using Win7 64-bit. It appears HP never completed the software drivers for this product. I was able to scan with a wireless connection with Vista.

4 out of 5 eggsGood printer

Pros: Fast, wireless, good picture quality, very efficient with ink usage. I print pages probably every other day, and it's usually shipping labels and webpage articles, etc. Occasional pictures.

Cons: occasional paper jam (about once a month), very easy to undo. The HP software is PACKED with garbage bloatware. It almost forces you to install everything and i had to uninstall about 6 pieces of software that was automatically using up system resources. When you try to uninstall the non-sense it warns you repeatedly that doing so will render the printer unusable, but the printer works just great with just the driver installed. Silly HP.

Other Thoughts: At the $129 price point, I think the Dell V715w is a better printer, however I got this for less than half that on black friday, which makes it well worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsReally happy with printer

Pros: Really fast for an inkjet and with the wireless networking and HP's improved (over the years) software, network printing and scanning is literally easier than ever. I am seriously impressed with this printer and for the money I don't think you can beat it.

Cons: Took too long to get here maybe??? I'm grasping at straws to complain. There are no cons so far.

Other Thoughts: This is the best overall printer I've ever owned. I've owned hundreds over the past 30 years and various businesses. Just 5 years ago you would have spent $10k to get what this printer does for < $100. This particular machine is a deal and I recommend you try one.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Printer With Flaws

Pros: Good printing Reliable on usb connection. lots of options. has a document feeder for large scans.Wireless even though the drivers suck. Looks good. Good print quality for a non photo printer. Extremely fast printing when set to fast draft.

Cons: The wireless drivers seem to have problems for me. lose connection and have to re-install drivers on laptop. Document feeder is kinda slow about maybe 3 pages a minute. Also no Extra large color cartridges are made for this model. Ink is hard to find I have to buy online.

Other Thoughts: Good printer for the money. I use it for buisness and i love it.
Despite the cons i love this printer it is reliable and fast draft printing is insanely fast. Just make sure its on a sturdy surface because the printer moves a lot in this mode.

4 out of 5 eggsPrinter is Now Fully Functional !!!

Pros: When I first got this Printer It had Problems communicating with the PC. I returned it and got another replacement from NewEgg. This one worked fine but, the bundled software"HP Solution Center" would not finish the setup. So, I left it in an incomplete setup state and ran the printer with other software(with limits on functionallity, namely faxing directly from the PC). And an update came thru from HP and all the sudden right before my eyes the setup started again and completed. Now the HP Solutio Center works perfectly.

Cons: Installing the HP Solution Center may or may not be a problem. Go to HP website and download and install the latest software for this device.

Other Thoughts: Now that everything works(HP Solution Center) it turns out to be a decent printer.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes work win7

Pros: Great printer for the money. To the poster that said it doesn't work with win7, it does. I've been using it for months and months on win7. Yes the installer doesn't work, but the drivers do. I scan print and copy, but have to use the windows scan and copy tools. Works fine for me, although i dont print or scan on a daily basis.

Cons: Cant use the HP Scan/Copy software. Must use windows scan tool or office scan or any other scanning software besides the shipped HP software.

5 out of 5 eggsHP Officejet J468

Pros: I find nothing to complain about. Within 30 minutes of arrival it was up and running. Every test I tried was accomplished as unit was designed, quickly and superb results. This printer is well worth the cost of purchase and I will buy HP products everytime needed.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: My general idea of HP and others who produce items for public and widespread use is that they will not intrduce an item that has not been completely tested and put through myriad abuses. The public is very hard on such items and they are built to accept abuse and hard use.
I question those who poor-mouth this printer when I cannot find or duplicate the problems they so readily desrcibe and critique.
