Excellent Printer !!
- Pros: * Easy Interface and Simple Installation
* Fast on draft settings
* Two Cartridge Ink System
* Handles 20lb paper to 110lb paper easily.
* Another HP brilliant product
- Cons: The starter cartridges you receive just like every other product you buy now a days is only full to about 20%. This is done purposely by the manufacturer so you have to buy more ink cartridges. Remember people - there are VERY slim profit margins on electronic components. The actual profit comes from the ink itself or toner .. depending on your printer.
The actual machine runs great!
- Other Thoughts: I'm not sure why people are giving this product less eggs because it doesn't come with a usb drive.. I'm seriously facepalming because since when did a printer come with a usb cable? Oh that's right NEVER.. people complain about something that has been known in the industry for YEARS. The last time printers came with cables was back in the Parallel cable era not USB..
Once again.. DO NOT give a bad product rating because you were to stupid too understand the fact that printers now a days do not come with a usb cable!!!
um.. where's the usb?
- Pros: It was a good price for the egg buster deal.
Looks really nice and compact next to my wife's desk.
Works well for what I need and suits my lifestyle.
- Cons: Didn't come with a usb to connect to the computer!! I had to drive to the store and pay $11.99 for a usb...
Doesn't have a scanner... those two factors just dropped the product two eggs.
- Other Thoughts: Who sells 80% of a product? That usb is crucial to getting the printer to connect with the computer, DUH!
- Pros: Plug in and go.
- Cons: Printing pictures was a bit of a pain. Figuring out which setting worked best with which software - headache. And the ink. If you're low on one cartridge don't expect to get a good picture.
- Other Thoughts: Overall it does the basics. But if you're going to be printing a lot of pictures go with a different printer. It's more of a headache to get a decent print than it's worth. You get what you pay for.
