2 out of 5 eggsi hate this printer

Pros: It's wireless.

Cons: This printer is very frustrating. The ink runs out VERY quickly. Get ready to double the cost of the printer in ink costs in a few months (with light usage). It is also extremely loud and is constantly adjusting itself. Printer is inconsistent and pulls the first sheet too far, shifting the text down the page.

Other Thoughts: I was so much happier with an 8 year old printer that finally went bust. This thing is a piece of junk. I would not buy this again.

5 out of 5 eggsThe best.

Pros: Beautiful CD/DVD printing. Quality printing. Compared to my other printers, this is so quiet I had to keep checking to see if it was running.

Cons: I've read it using a lot of ink. I've done about 40 discs and haven't noticed it using anymore than my HP.

Other Thoughts: I read the other reviews about the continuous ink supply and am still waiting to try the one I ordered. Best printer I've owned.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat wireless printer

Pros: - Wireless is great and works perfectly
- Setup was very easy
- Prints fast (though not truly 33 PPM)
- Prints photos nicely (let them dry after printing!)

Cons: - Can be very loud
- Wireless takes a long time to start printing (sometimes I question whether it actually went through)
- The HP software is very large and can slow down computers' boot times.

Other Thoughts: The cons are not a big deal for me, but just keep them in mind. Do not underestimate the beauty of wireless printing, especially if you have only a laptop or have multiple computers.

I'd recommend buying the XL ink cartridges as you'll be able to print more for your money.

2 out of 5 eggsPrints nice, guzzles ink

Pros: Print quality is the best of any inkjet printer I've owned so far. Borderless 4x6 prints on photo paper look great.

Cons: #1 issue I have with this printer is the amount of ink it uses. I don't print many photos, mostly text, but I do a lot of scanning. My print count shows 435 pages, and I've used 11 incartridges so far. At $11 each for genuine HP, this equates to nearly 30cents per page.
My theory on the issue is that with every single scan you do, even if you don't print, it goes through it's "printing preparation" cycle. I believe it's priming the jets every time, and thus wasting ink.

Other Thoughts: Because of the outrageous ink usage, I'm getting rid of this printer and replacing it with a Canon. No idea if it'll be any better, but it can't be any worse...

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very good print quality.

Cons: Very noisy, it sounds like a threshing machine before and after printing (warm - up?). Ink cartridges are expensive and don't last very long, also unlike other HP printers the print head is not on the cartridge, which could clog and cause problems. HP could give these printers free because they make their money on the ink cartridges. Win 7 ddrivers were not included and when I went with win 7 the scanner flexibilty wasn't there, had to pay for driver cd because it waas over a year old.

2 out of 5 eggsAdequate

Pros: Adequate All-In-One wireless printer for home use for the price offered here ... same as I paid for it back in 2008. Had no problems with installation on two PC's - first Vista and now Windows 7. My purchase of this C6380 two years ago was based on the low profile and previous satisfaction with HP.

Cons: Bloatware. Replacement HP Vivera ink cartridges are expensive and short-lived. Spits copies out to the floor.

Other Thoughts: I use my older HP psc1350 All-In-One more - it never fails, inks last longer.

2 out of 5 eggsStay away from HP

Pros: Worked great for the first few months

Cons: 3 months in it kept losing its IP address and wouldn't let me print to it unless I reset the network configs.

Claims the multiple ink cartridges will save you money by letting you only buy the ones you need...doesn't mention that unless all the cartridges are usable it won't print. I was out of Cyan and it wouldn't let me print in black and white.

Other Thoughts: HP used to have a good reputation...but I've been through three different HP printers in a 2 year time frame. Save your money and buy anything made by Brother (I have a Brother 490-CW. It costs less and is much higher quality)

3 out of 5 eggsPrinter is great, software... not so great

Pros: If this review was strictly for the hardware it would have been 5 eggs out of 5. The print quality is great, scanner quality is great, printer connected to my network and I was able to install on 4 different versions of Windows without a problem

Cons: the one con, the SOFTWARE IS TERRIBLE . I uninstalled some of the HP bloat ware and after a reboot found out that it removed all of my user data for my main account on my main pc

Other Thoughts: usually HP story, great hardware absolutely awful software

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: Beautiful prints for the first few days.
Wireless worked great.

Cons: Never worked again after the first few days. Had a constant "paper jam" that was never there, and that prevented the printer from ever initializing, much less actually printing.

Other Thoughts: I've always considered HP to be good quality printers, and maybe I just got a dudd, but from all the reviews I've read online about THIS model, I think it was more like one of the norms. Complete trash, don't waste your money.
