Pros: 1. The photo prints are amazing in color and clarity.
2.The scanner works great. (made old photos look better)
3. Easy setup...(just follow the clear instructions)
Cons: 1. If you need a usb cable, you'll have to go to the store and buy one. ($15 to $20 bucks)
2. Like another reviewer, my screen wouldn't stay up. I had to put a pack of gum back there to hold it up.
Other Thoughts: If it weren't for having to shell out another $15 bucks for the usb cable (which is probably what 90% of purchasers are going to use), and the display not standing up like it should, I would have given it a 5 star.

Excellent Printer

Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: more than 1 year
Pros: Photo quality excellent - you can't tell if you went to a drug store or did this in your home - photo wise - superb printer - Black and white good - Great Wireless capablities too. With BLUE TOOTH adapter it becomes... well a Blue Tooth printer!. WIRELESS capablities excellent - finds networks effortlessly!
Cons: Black printinf could be faster - however, not too bad.
Other Thoughts: We use this as a PC or MAC wirless printer and it works excellent - sees our wireless router effortlessly - Overall a great buy- That's why I gave it 5 eggs - becuase all of its capabilities.

Software Bogs Down Computer

Pros: Prints look great, individual ink cartridges, easy wireless setup.
Cons: The HP software that comes with the printer bogs down your PC big time. My laptop was running great until I installed this printer.
Other Thoughts: Shop around for a printer company with a decent software group.
