HP 05X Black LaserJet Toner Cartridge (CE505X)

Pros: High Yield, dropped right into my HP 2055dl with no proplem. Clean Clear, Crip pages. Standard Hiqh Quality I expect from HP.

Cons: You are right, the 05X will not fit the P2035. Even with the little tabs removed and the cartridge being able to drop into the printer, it still won't work. The cartridge itself has a larger toner container which blocks the door on the printer from closing. The only reason I purchased the P2035 for my school was because of the same toner cartridge so we could save by purchasing in quantity. Now, unless I want to use only 05A we can't do that. Every other website I've checked, Staples, HP, Office Depot all suggest purchasing the 05X in order to save money. It's strange that HP would make that suggestion knowing that the cartridge won't fit the printer.

Pros: Have had this for about a year in the home office and it has had zero problems and prints papers out as fast as you can blink your eye.

Pros: Ordered two. Print Cartridge works as promised.

Cons: Sadly one of the print cartridges did not work correctly. It showed empty almost immediately after putting it in the printer. Thinking it might be a problem with the printer it was switched out and the other one works perfectly.

Other Thoughts: Contacting HP about replacing a defective print cartridge we shall see how it goes. As a former HP tech support agent, for notebooks and desktops, I am assuming the worse. I love purchasing from Newegg and personally have spent a good deal of my own money, and I would hate for my job to not want to purchase again because of a print cartridge.

Pros: This toner is EGGsactly what you would expect from a reputable and well established company such as HP. I have never had an issue, and never had a defective product.

Other Thoughts: If you want to keep only one type of toner in stock than it is up to you to shop for the right printers. If you buy the wrong cartridge for your printer than it is a lack of concern on your part.

Other Thoughts: I found it odd that HP does not have a high yield cartridge for the P2035.
I have several of each model in my office and would like to keep only one type of spare in stock.

Pros: Have a 2055dn and this beats buying a 2300 page cartridge versus 6500 page! 2nd the New Egg price. A win win really for those that know what they are buying. The 2055dn is so wicked fast and now this cart what's not to like. Now I can focus on making money instead of waiting to print documents.

Cons: This overpriced cartridge won't fit into a P2035N, though the website said it would. It only fits the P2055 series.

What's great is that the cartridge is EXACTLY the SAME as the A cartridge, except it's "high capacity" and it has two little tabs on it that won't let it drop into place.

HP is very, very close to losing my business, which has been significant over the years.

Other Thoughts: For many years, it's been a well known convention that "X" cartridges have more toner vs "A" cartridges, so for more money you can go longer between toner changes. Not so any more, apparently.
