Pros: Worked well for about a month....just after the Standard Return Policy was up (not a bash on NE, I love NE, but this printer works "just long enough" so you're stuck with it).
Cons: Doesn't pickup/feed paper properly and always thinks it's out of paper, display screen errors and becomes unreadable, plastic trays jam and require intriquite disassembly/reassembly to function properly. Basically, it's a pretty poorly build printer!
Other Thoughts: My 15 year old HP4P is a better printer than this piece! If you want AIO, buy an old workhorse printer and a flatbed scanner...you'll be better off!

Pros: If you don’t have the budget for the Wireless model - NO Problem – I NETWORKED it to my WIRELESS ROUTER and can print wirelessly from anywhere in my home. Especially like DOUBLE-SIDED Printing. Saves Paper!! High Quality scans are a snap in jpg or pdf.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: Paper tray is extra large - no need to reload often. Also like individual Ink Cartridges that are available in Oversize.

Good Printer Great OCR

Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: 1 week to 1 month
Pros: Great OCR for free product. I scanned a document with various formatting and a logo and it scanned into MS Word 2007 exactly as laid out on the page.
Fast printing once the document makes it to the printer.
Auto double sided printing a real plus.
Cons: I had to manually configure the fire wall (CA Security Center) by entering about 10 exceptions, which I finally did after 3 attempts to install the drivers. The install process took a long time as a result, but included with the printer was a list of the exceptions that had to be entered.
The drivers take a while to process a print job compared to the laser printer I was using before.
Hard to clear paper jams when they occur. Has happened once thus far.
Other Thoughts: I have not printed a photo with this printer and I have no intent to use it for a fax so I cannot comment on these features.
