Pros: Wired Ethernet Separate Color inks low priced ink fax with feeder great price small form factor for the features
Cons: Black ink runs out quickly. The original is a starter cartridge, but even the black I purchased ran out quicker than expected. Make sure to get a spare! Also, sometimes the feeder for the fax pulls to one side and jams, so be careful when loading.
Other Thoughts: I have this set up as a shared wired printer on the network, and it runs great. I use the fax function from time to time, and so far I'm very pleased with all features. I considered getting a laser, but I would have had to sacrifice color or spend much more. If you don't print too much, this is perfect. For high use, consider spending more on the hardware and you'll save in the long run.
I haven't tested photo quality, but it should be on par with any of the HPs using the same cartridge sets. They tend to be good for photos as long as the right paper is used.

Pros: Nice, Quick, Not to big.
Cons: No automatic duplex, You have no scan option in XP-64bit or Vista from printer to computer. You will get an error if you hit the scan button on the printer itself because you don't have the option of HP Solution Center. Not sure why they haven't made an update for this. In order to scan I use the Scanner and Camera Wizard in the Start-Programs-Accessories area. It does work fine on my XP 32bit system.
Other Thoughts: I went to the hp website and downloaded the full feature driver/software pack for XP-64bit and it made no difference.
