Pros: Printer worked quite well out of the box. Setup was quick and easy, installation of driver software took only a few minutes. I'm impressed with the copy speed (compared to my last printer, an HP Photosmart 4280). Scanning is quite nice and can be set up to 4800 DPI enhanced (though I'm not sure why this would ever be necessary, it's there if you need it!). Documents print quickly in b/w. I have not yet printed any photos.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: You'll need to get a USB cable, since the printer doesn't come with one. The "Nippon Labs Black 6 ft. USB cable A/male to B/male Model USB-6-AB-BK" worked just fine for me.

Pros: Fast printing, high resolution printing/scanning, touchscreen, memory card reader built-in
Cons: Kinda clumsy to install new cartridges if you have large hands. Eject paper holder is kinda flimsy but no big deal.

Pros: Very nice basic printer/copier/scanner for it's price.
Cons: I use WXP pro x64 and the software that came with this printer will not install. Had to go HP's website and download the drivers. NOTE that the software will not run in x64; only the drivers will. Well that's the way the Happy Pig thinks.
Other Thoughts: Anyway it serves my purpose and I am very happy with it.
Also the power switch when pushed once puts the printer in standby, not off; so you have to push twice to turn the printer off.
