Pros: None that I have found. Probably not even a good boat anchor.
Cons: Never-ending "Ink System Failure" errors (0xc0000135 & 0xc19a0036). A printer that has produced 40 actual prints now requires a printer head replacement? Customer support is useless. Downloaded latest drivers. Result: Blue Screen of Death. Purchased new driver disc from HP. Result: Blue Screen of Death.
Other Thoughts: HP warranty validation did not work any of the half dozen times I tried to use it. Without warranty validation, you cannot get a human to talk to you. Now that the warranty has expired, these clowns want me to pay them more money to rectify the problems. It ain't gonna happen. I will never buy another product that bears the HP logo.

Rating: 1/5I have nothing good to say about this printer.
Pros: 11x17.
Cons: We had nothing but trouble with this printer. We lived with it for nearly a year before getting fed up and tossing it in the recycling. Slowest printer I ever owned. Not only in print speed, but spooling a document took ages, if it ever printed at all. All our machines are Win7 and have no trouble with any other device.
Other Thoughts: We ended up using the print center down the street more than we used this printer. Waste of money. We replaced it with a business level color laser and I gotta say it was worth every penny. I press print and I actually get a physical copy of my work. With this HP all I got was pain and anguish.

Rating: 4/5Big but Great printer
Pros: This printer is easy to use and I didn't need to read the manual.
Cons: It's huge. It didn't fit in the space where the old one did. I haven't figured out how to use the top feeder yet.

Rating: 1/5Paper Jam HELL
Pros: Not sure since I have wasted precious work time messing with it. Bought two printers may send them both back.
Cons: Constant paper jam message even and yet to have an actual jam. Can't clear message without o long shut down and then it happens over and over. About to toss the printer in the lake behind my house. It's upsetting my dog since I am so mad

Rating: 1/5Where's Quality Control?
Pros: Arrived in a timely matter, can't comment on anything else because it's broken.
Cons: The little flimsy piece of plastic that signals the printer that the ink door is closed was missing and I later found it underneath the hinge for the door. Now I'll likely have to pay 40$ in shipping at least to return the defective product I was sold.

Rating: 1/5Doesn't work as advertised
Pros: Probably would work fine with Windows.
Cons: Doesn't work well with Mac OS X. Specifically, none of the 11x17 printouts fit properly on the paper. After hours and adjusting scaling and other various settings, we've decided to send this back to HP and look for a better replacement.

Rating: 5/5Sweet Printer
Pros: Very easy to setup and install. I used a wired network rather than Wireless or USB connection. Excellent response between computer & printer. B&W text printing very good - small footnote-sized font easily read. Quiet when powered up but not in use. Fax works well over Vonage line. Scan speed very good for home office. Legal sized scan will be useful for some of my RC hobby scan activities. Scan application much better than previous HP apps.
Cons: Some of the "on printer" displays are a bit confusing (the huh? factor).
Other Thoughts: I recently set up a 8500A for a friend using wireless connection. Compared to the 8500A, the 7500A is very quiet and startup is much faster. Friend's comment is that the 8500A rocks back-n-forth while printing - the 7500A is dead solid perfect. Maybe my house is better built :).

Manual not clear

Rating: 3/5Does not reduce from 11x17
Pros: Small for ability to scan 11x17 originals.
Cons: Will not "offically" resize when using stitching function when specifying 11x17 (or A3) originals.
Other Thoughts: It will reduce to letter, even after prompting that this function is not supported. Before prompt if paper size is correct printer will spit a blank page before hand in order to check paper size. No choice as to reduction it will only reduce to paper size specified or installed. Did not check with other than letter size paper in bin, however. Firmware updates may remove this feature (bug?).

Rating: 5/5dream printer
Pros: Nice fast large format prints via usb, didn't hassle me much installation wise. It has places to plug memory cards to scan to and from but no usb stick plug, drivers from hp work without a hitch. It seems someone listened when I wished for a large format all in one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. It replaces a hp 9110 that was showing its age.
Cons: Seemed that the wireless drivers between my two hp all in ones conflicted with each other. Once I made one wireless and the other one ethernet the problems went away. Power block --why do they still keep these things outside the printer? Surely there is room inside but I guess if it fails it is easier to fix.
Other Thoughts: Have been waiting a while for this. The only way to make it any better would be forever cheap inks, larger tray with spaces for different size paper, gigabit ethernet and USB/CF memory slot
