WarrantyBeyond any applicable Newegg return policy, this item is warranted independently by the product's Manufacturer or a Third party. Below is a summary provided for convenience only and may not be accurate or current.
Read full details.
Pros: Easy to change ink cartridges. Wifi setup was easy. Can print from Droid X2 and Razor Maxx.
Cons: Print cartridge holder/spray head went bad from clogging. Seems they go bad quite often and online retailer are the only way to find non used ones. Bought one and installed and went bad again after 3 months. Prints slow as molasses. Printer software tries to take over computer. HP advertisement popups constantly and shoots out bad links for ink purchase when needed. Inaccurate ink level indicators.
Other Thoughts: The product is bad not Newegg. Item was delivered fast and undamaged.

Rating: 4/5good printer
Pros: it prints, ink lasts pretty long, double sided printing a definite plus (saves paper), 4 devices in one, 3 year warranty
Cons: nothing much, software options aren't really user friendly; I don't print much, but I buy my ink at a supplier so it doesn't cost much. my only worry is if one device stops working, I lose printing, scanning, faxing abilities. so far so good.
Other Thoughts: I bought it to replace scanner, but use it for occasional printing, and in case I need to fax anything. The document feeder stopped working, then started again about a month later. I'm really pretty happy with it.

Pros: Nothing!
Cons: This printer had a hardware failure the day after its one year warranty. This printer sucks! The wireless is sketchy and the quality of the color printing is horrible.
Other Thoughts: Do not buy this printer. I have never hated a printer so much. It is cheap and did not last.

Rating: 1/5Slow!!!!
Pros: Decent printing Auto feeding scanner
Cons: Slow! This thing will print one page fine one minute then the very next document takes 30 - 40 seconds and a lot of extra noise to print the next sheet. It really hacks me off to have to listen to it sound like it is re-installing ink cartridges. I am going to by a laser printer next time.

Rating: 4/5Nice printer
Pros: Black and Shiny, looks great on my desk, I am so tired of every printer being grey or white. Printing to it from anywhere on the internet by emailing it whatever I want printed. Apps are cool but haven't used them much.
Cons: Wireless wouldn't setup right, it saw my AP but could never pull an address from it, kept defaulting to 169.x.x.x so I had to revert to the wired connection. Not really a big deal, my printer is within 6 feet of my switch but I had planned on moving this out to the dining room table occasionally for my wife when she scrapbooks.
Other Thoughts: My parents have the 8500 and this is alost as good for what we paid for it. Since it was onsale for Black Friday I'm not going ot be too disappointed if it fails like the other posters have commented on.

Rating: 5/5Sweet Printer
Pros: - Works great with iPads and as a network printer for Win7 and XP. - Two sided printing. - Feeds in paper for scanning. - New Egg had very good price
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: - After I updated the printer via the control screen, my iPad could print to it. Update also solved all negative issues that I have read about this printer. - Works well both via hard wire Ethernet and wireless. I first connected this printer on my wireless network - worked well. My PC's and this printer are now connect via Ethernet cables and 1Gb switches as printer did not connect well wirelessly due to distance from my wireless router. - I have not purchased ink yet -- hopefully the cost will not be too painful.

Disappointed HP User

Rating: 3/5Didn't last very long
Pros: When it worked it was a great printer for general use like printing documents.
Cons: The ink for this puppy costs as much if not more than the printer itself. The printer stopped printing well before I thought I got my money's worth out of it. The printer did not have a hard life and wasn't used excessively. I used only HP ink in it now portions of the printed page don't print even after cleaning all the removeable print head parts I could access.
Other Thoughts: I'm really disappointed in the HP Officejet 6500. I originally wrote how much I liked this printer when I first go it but it really didn't last very long and it's cheaper to through it out than it is to have it fixed. My search now is to find another brand that is more reliable if one exists.

Rating: 1/5Junk
Pros: Nothing I can think of
Cons: Scanner/Copier failed after less than 50 copies. I didn't use it much. Had it over a year and only on my second set of ink cartridges. If I used it more it would have just failed sooner. Also, it come with all sorts of bloat ware. It is difficult to sort through to get rid of the stuff and get down to just the drivers.
Other Thoughts: Don't buy it. My second HP printer that was junk. I am buying another brand to replace it.

Rating: 1/5Expensive Disposable Junk Printer
Pros: I can throw it away.
Cons: Went through 2 print heads, and lots of ink trying to "realign cartridge". Won't print color without smearing the first page, or at all on the 2nd page.
Engineered for EARLY FAILURE, and EXPENSIVE INK. Do not buy.
