4 out of 5 eggsGreat Printer

Pros: I connected my computer, cell phone, and kindle to this printer and it work every time. I love the fact that it is wireless

Cons: The wireless set up was a pain at first, but after I got it all set up is was much easier the second time around for my other devices.

Other Thoughts: I have had the printer for almost a year and it's still going strong. i have the same ink cartridges in it. I do mild printing and a lot of scanning. Over all the printer is worth it.

1 out of 5 eggsNew egg would not help with return item defective

Pros: this printer would be great if it worked. WHen I called HP to get it to work because new egg would not help 2 months later when I finally realized it would not work, HP is still giving me run around. "manager" never called me back.

4 out of 5 eggsgot no satisfaction

Pros: works well for the cost of the item, looks nice, does well on ink, no jams so far, color copy looks like original

Cons: wireless was really slow, researched problems through HP but got no satisfaction from their tips

Other Thoughts: set it up as wireless so computer upstairs could print to it but it was so slow on wireless that I could actually could go down and boot up computer and print to USB before wireless was finished, by stopwatch.

5 out of 5 eggsGood printer

Pros: Can't go wrong with this all in one printer. Was a bit more expensive when I bought it, but the quality is good, easy to use, wireless is what I wanted to network all my PCs in the house to the printer. Ink is relatively cheap, especially if you buy the refurbished ones. Print quality is good.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Even came with the USB cable. HP has come a long way with their printers and printer drivers. I just installed the driver, no software, and was easy, fast and stable. I remember back in the day when HP drivers were terrible and riddled with problems at installation. Not anymore.

2 out of 5 eggsGets the job done but clunky and slow

Pros: It was cheap and it works

Cons: * It sounds like an industrial plant processing metal when you attempt to print anything.
* Loading in too much paper(20+ sheets) makes the sheets get a crease on the corners.
* Opening it up it feels flimsy
*WiFi is not the most reliable

Other Thoughts: If the price is more than 35 bucks at the time of buying, it's not worth it

1 out of 5 eggsuseless pice of junk

Pros: cheap

Cons: The black cartridge was not compatible.
Low color quality.
after a month of use it started to print one hour after sending the print command. I didn't even bother to trouble shoot.

Other Thoughts: Dont bother with the cheap ones.. get a good quality printer. I have a 2nd hand 10 year old laserjet 3100 which is still kicking b.u.t.t..

1 out of 5 eggsQuestion

Pros: no opinion Do not own

Cons: no opinion

Other Thoughts: Curious if they actually come with a full containers of ink? That would make the ink the keepers and toss the computer.

5 out of 5 eggsGood/Great Basic Printer

Pros: It was $25 bucks on 'Black Friday,' it scans stuff to my hard drive and prints stuff from my screen to paper all for $25 bucks... Looks cool to!

Cons: At the price I paid, none! It does what it's supposed to when it supposed to... But if I had to find one, it collects dust FAST!

Other Thoughts: I've had this for 6 months now and the only hiccup I've had was a page load error the other day that was 100% my fault.

With the price of ink it can actually costs less to buy new printers. That being said I actually like this one enough to keep. It's not to big for most any desks and it looks really good.

I had no problem whatsoever installing the software - it's pretty straight forward so I find it hard to believe someone with a "somewhat high" tech knowledge would have any problem... Just sayin!

Overall I'd say it's worth the $59.99 Newegg is currently asking but at that price it's just a "good" printer.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: feed design, gravity feed from back to front, better than a lot of HP printers these days.

Cons: feed assembly snapped inside on the 15th page or so, had to send back to newegg.

Other Thoughts: I have had 3 hp printers in the last three years. All three I never got more than 100 pages out of them before something tore up. I am going to go with a different brand from now on, most likely lexmark, maybe a brother. Its a shame.

3 out of 5 eggsCan be a bargin

Pros: Beautiful piano black finish that might be a perfect match to many PCs made in the last few years. Very quiet operation. Extremely simple Win7 set-up on old 'g' wireless network (d-link DI-624) without any security (rural area). Covers all computers in a 1500ft house. Print quality on plain paper looks very nice. Little information screen is a big improvement over blinking LEDs found on my earlier machine. So far, rear paper feed seems better than all my earlier HP tray fed types.

Cons: Included software disc is loaded with (insert profane word). The most minimal install still requires 15 minutes of deleting and restarting to remove HP advertising and Bing browser search (WT F, I thought I bought a printer but there seams to be enough spamware for a whole PC. Typical HP). The printer industry's ink scam is alive and well. These #61 cartridges are rated for under 200 pages, which is about 10% less than the common #60 found in my 2 year old basic HP machine. You have to pay for high capacity cartridges just to get the same quantity of ink that was standard 8-10 years ago. I have also watched the reliability of HP printers decline steadily with each HP purchase. Of the 5 HP printers that I've bought in the last 10 years, only the second oldest and the new one still work. The oldest working one never gives me the headaches of the newer models. I swore to never buy another one of these corporate profit creators until....

Other Thoughts: Black Friday. $25 @ BB. That's the only reason I bought another HP. The two (included) ink cartridges are worth more than I paid for the whole machine. Since this is a back-up printer for the infrequently used secondary PCs in the house, the minuscule ink cartridges will probably last until next Black Friday when I'll be able to buy a couple more $20 printers just to rob the $30 ink cartridges from. Ha-Ha-Ha, Take that HP!! By the way, BB does a way inferior job on the shipping, compared to Newegg. No packaging and slow shipping.
