Palm Beach Frank 12/7/2011 11:21:53 AM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 2/5	Rating: 4/5Great but noisy Pros: Great print quality, even in photo mode. Reasonably fast. Fairly easy to setup. Cons: Noisy, noisy, noisy. Did I mention noisy? - what I can't hear you. Other Thoughts: Physically, almost an exact copy of the 8560 but with some rounded off edges and a low ink indicator. Has a new "sleep" mode (+). If you are upgrading from an 8560, the 8570 uses a different crayon ink thingie, meaning that all your expensive left over ink is now useless, and the new 8570 crayons are even more expensive. Get redy to rob a bank to pay for the ink. That said, however, the ink does last and last. Maint kits are different as well. Will take some doing to get it to print custom envelopes, but once you figure it out, it is ok. Get the extended warranty. My 8560 blew it's blue ink head just out of it's regular warranty. All in all, a great machine (like the 8560 before it). The print quality is like something that came out of a professional printer"s shop. Get ready for the clunk, clunk, crash, bang, and thump, thump, thump when it prints. It is marginally less noisy than a boiler factory. If you are deaf, it is no problem.
