2 out of 5 eggsSmall printer, expensive toners

Pros: Light, weighs about 30 lbs. Small foot print. Printer was easy to set up.

Cons: I printed a few pages, and the cyan toner is OUT!! The toner is difficult to find, as not many stores/websites carry these toners. Also, for original Xerox Cyan toner, it's about $50-$60 and only yields 1000 pages. Most HP toners can yield about 2000 pages.

Other Thoughts: I am going back to an HP printer

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little machine

Pros: Easy to set up
Plenty of features
Nice design
Reliable
Good networking options

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Great machine, convenient design. Very flexible in terms of networking options. You can have it scan right to a password protected folder on a server or even ftp. Good fit for business or even corporate environment. Not the fastest printing machine out there but no complaints for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat printer - more Mac support!!

Pros: First laser printer I've owned and love it. Did a lot of research before purchasing. This printer was chosen for supporting Macs, decent cost per page, decent price of toner (and third party toner is very reasonable), and footprint. This printer has a smaller footprint than my HP inkjet all in one.

Xerox says it supports Macs - not exactly true (see below).

Print quality is outstanding. Scanner is impressive as well.

Cons: My only issues so far is setup when using Macs. The setup assistant doesn't load on 10.7 or 10.8. I have Parallells and of course it pops right up in windows 7.

Wireless printer setup can be done right from printer - which is what I ended up doing (just connect to wifi).

Drivers installed on both 10.7 and 10.8 (by manually installing 10.7 supported driver). Once 10.8 tried to print it would tell you driver has a problem but clicking 'repair driver' solved my issues.

I don't understand how 6 months after Apple releases 10.8 that xerox doesn't have a supported driver!!!!

I spent an hour attempting to setup scan to email but the unit doesn't support SSL encryption and I couldn't find a provider with optional SSL. Scanning to network is also a nightmare - I couldn't figure it out after hours. You can do a lot of setup by accessing the printers IP address on any browser (used my iPad). But even after following all instructions online the scan still fails!!

Other Thoughts: You can always scan to USB drive - printer is quieter than my inkjet was.

This is well worth the $300 it ran me for. Of course Newegg had the best price on the market!!

5 out of 5 eggsI love y Xerox!

Pros: Once I familiarized myself with the control buttons, set up was a breeze! I found administrative set up, named my SSID hit ok, went to my computer set up wireless printer and I was printing with in 5 minutes of plugging the unit in. My son has windows 8 on his computer, he said once I entered the SSID into the printer, an icon showed up in his windows tray, he said he clicked on the icon, and the printer drivers installed and he was ready to print, it was the easiest printer I have ever used.
Crisp clear printing, black and white and color, text and pictures.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: If the unit had different temp lets of each language for the buttons it may have been simpler to learn than pushing buttons, I have had several wireless printers, this printer took less time to set up than any I have previously had. For a wireless color laser all in one the quality far beets the price.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid printer

Pros: Setup was super easy, even for a wi-fi only. Wake-up and warm-up times acceptable. I have not noticed any issues with noise, and the printer is in my bedroom. Print quality is pretty good, but does require some tweaking in the advanced settings to meet my personal requirements.

Cons: Setting up for scanning was poorly explained. There are plenty of options (to e-mail, to network pc, etc.). Once you figure it out it's really easy, but there are no real instructions there.

Other Thoughts: Setup and slight print quality (which i resolved in both cases) only reason not 5 stars.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Unit

Pros: Wireless only setup was a breeze and getting the printer working went very quickly on the computer as well. B/W output and speed are pretty good, but not super fast. Scanner quality is quite good.

Cons: Some streaks on the color printout I tested. This might just be in the setup and I suspect will go away with some tweaking.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent All in One Printer

Pros: -Fast print speeds
-Great color quality
-Good scanner
-Quick start Up
-Small and light
-Low power usage for a laser printer
-Multiple sheet feeder
-3rd party toner available

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: This All in one is smaller than the five year old Samsung color Laser printer it replaced. And even though the Samsung was rated at 20PPM color, this Xerox prints faster. Of course it's not 20PPM but it is still quick.
So far I have been extremely pleased with this all in one printer.

My unit is using the wired connection but I tested the wireless connection and had no issues. I got it up quickly over wireless

5 out of 5 eggsSmooth Sailing

Pros: Excellent! Prints quietly and fast from startup (13 seconds or less--didn't time). Best feature is wireless--printer is downstairs and laptop is upstairs (approx. 6 yards or 18' away from printer and 13' up). I hope that helps give a visual of the distance between comp and printer. Easy Setup--use the disc.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I'm not too sure why ppl have wireless problems; at first I was worried but after setting up, it was a breeze. Just remember to follow the steps from the disc to setup your wireless. I wish I could leave a review as to how phones are for printing but my HTC Inspire is not compatible with Xerox.

4 out of 5 eggsGood printer/scanner, problems with WiFi

Pros: Good printer/scanner.
Good printed colors.
Not too big, not too heavy.
Prints fast when on a wire.
I can find 3rd-party toner for it.

Cons: WiFi did not work for me.

Other Thoughts: I've bought it pretty cheap. I don't think that $400-$500 is the right price for it. But for what I paid it's a great printer.

At first I tried using it over WiFi. The printer showed the IP address and the WiFi status was "good", but my computer had a problem seeing this printer. When it finally saw the printer, i printed one test page. The page started printing only in 10 minutes or so.

This is very strange considering that the printer and the router sit on the same desk. I use Macs, so maybe it works with Windows, I don't know. Maybe the problem is in my router, I don't know. I did not research this further because I can connect the printer to the router with a wire.

I've connected the printer to the router with an ethernet cable, and now it works like a charm. It starts printing very soon, almost like an inkjet. The colors are pretty good. The scans are good.

In general, I recommend this printer, but be aware that you may have problems with WiFi
