If you don't, it's still pretty simple to add this to your wireless network. I've owned a Canon PIXMA series printer before and like previous versions, this printer probably takes 15-45 seconds to start printing. It seems like a tedious wait but once it starts it prints quickly. I've tried the copier and scanner functions also and both are working great.
