5 out of 5 eggsGreat value

Pros: We have used three of these toner cartridges now and couldn't be more pleased with the results. We have gotten full life out of every single one. Will definitely continue to purchase these.

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsStandard

Pros: The price, obviously. The prints are clear at first. Lasts as advertised (+/- 100 prints)

Cons: Sometimes the print dust is excessive. Also, the toner tends to mark the pages closer to the run out time.

Other Thoughts: Considering that these toners are 1/2 price of Brother toners, they are worth the bargain.

4 out of 5 eggsso far so good

Pros: Reasonable price, works

Cons: Kind of cheaply made. "missed spots", not as good as OEM, but price-wise...

Other Thoughts: Purchased 2, still using first one, and it's used every day (wife is a coupon-er...) I use it for work as well. has been reliable. Some missed spots (RARE) would require reprinting if for bar-code or presentation use. Perfect for everyday printing tho

4 out of 5 eggsgood so far, buying more

Pros: For my Brother DCP-8080 DN ... this cartridge lasted as long as the Brother high capacity cartridge, and printed about the same number of pages.

Cons: First one I bought didn't quite fit and for a month I thought that I had a lemon, but just before the time to RMA it was up I re-tried the install and it fit. It fits snugly, but it does fit a Brother DCP-8080 DN. This does leak a bit of toner when installed.

Other Thoughts: Just bought 2 more. If my printer ends up needing repair (as noted in a review below), I'll buy the necessary parts and install. In the meantime, I'm saving money on toner big time. For a big shop with lots of printers, however, I can see where this cartridge could be a hassle.

4 out of 5 eggsCheaper? yes. Better value? Unsure

Pros: Half the price of OEM.
This high-yield model is a better value than TN620.

Cons: Lower quality, tends to run out faster than OEM, semi-frequent DOAs

Other Thoughts: Our company goes through at least 10 of these a month; Often the printer believes they're empty long before they actually are. Here's how to reset your toner:

MFC-8000 series:
Open toner door, press Clear/Back
LCD will say REPLACE DRUM - 1.YES 2.NO
Press 1
LCD should show ACCEPTED; close toner door

HL-5000 series:
Turn off printer; open toner door
hold GO button; power printer on
All lights will turn on. Keep holding GO until the Status light turns off
Press GO twice. Lights should turn back on
Press GO 6x; status light should turn red.
Close the toner door

Rosewill toner is notorious for being misread as empty. These steps have saved us significantly.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes the job

Pros: It does the job. Bought a lot of these toners. Only 1 had an issue out of 10+ and Newegg replaced for a new working toner without hassle. Fits well into our MFC 8480 Brother Printer. Runs for 6800 - 7200 pages (basically as advertized)
Very cheap! 2x less than Brother toner on Newegg. 3-4x cheaper than in store.

Cons: Leaves ink dust around during unpacking and installation.

1 out of 5 eggsGot an empty

Pros: Normally they work great.

Cons: Printer said "replace toner." I took the old one out and put the new one in and it still said "replace toner. Apparently, the new one was empty.

Other Thoughts: I always keep a spare - you know the whole plan ahead thing. Had this sitting on my shelf for 4 months and still got stuck without a toner cartridge. Couldn't print for 2 hours till someone could go to town and get one locally for triple the price. Serious bummer.

4 out of 5 eggsSatisfactory

Pros: It seems to be good toner; no problems on 4 cartridges; just ordered 5 more.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have seen (and bought) products where the ratings are too high and the praise is too effusive, and it seems clear that the manufacturer has shills. This seems to be happening more and more often. I think that here we see the opposite, where some negative reviews are not genuine. This would probably be hard for Newegg to control, but it corrupts and discredits the rating system.

2 out of 5 eggsRosewill makes good PC components, but not toners!

Pros: Price is nearly 1/3 of the genuine stuff

Cons: We have 6 MFC-8480DN in the office. We go through about 8 or more TN650 high yield toners a month. I often placed orders that are over $600 or more in geniune TN650 toners(Newegg can check my order history as proof). One day I decided to try out these Rosewill toners to keep cost down. I've read the reviews on these toners and they were not pretty, but what the heck, I use Rosewill stuffs(PC parts) all the time and they are pretty good. My first impression like everyone else, the toner does not "lock click" in place, no problem I don't mind. The quality of the print are indentical to the geniune stuff. BUT....after 1 week of use, I noticed several machines started to make loud "CLICK" sound when they print. Again, I did not think much of it. As we kept printing, the loud "CLICK" were followed by paper jams. Soon after, the printers would just "click click click" and jam constantly, like it were unable to pick up the paper from the tray.

Other Thoughts: Continue from above-
Now this is happening to 3 of our 6 machines. I called Brother tech support. They said it's because we were using non-geniune toner cartridges. I still did not believe Brother, I think they just want us to buy their stuff. Anyways, I googled the problem. It seems that there is a history of this happening when using generic toners. The generic cartrigdes uses inferior gears. This causes the drive gears in the machine to crack, thus making it unable to pick up the paper. That is exactly what happened when we opened them up. All 3 affect machines had cracked gears. We had to order the gears from Brother and replaced them. Yes Roswell makes good PC parts, but these toners are cr*p. Do yourself a favor and get the geniune stuff! I still have 5 new Roswell toners, anyone want them??
