Pros: None

Cons: Installed the toner only this week even though I had bought it sometime back. Started getting paper jam immediately. Tried re-installing and all possible steps, but get paper jam after printing just 1 sheet. Went back to original toner, and the problem disappeared.

Other Thoughts: Have bought multiple Rosewill products before, this one is a complete waste of money.

Pros: BROTHER DID IT. Google any problem with this toner like few and faded prints. We have very good friends out there who have simple solutions. I run out a box of reams of paper per toner replacement. Of course with expected Rosewill quality products, like Boeing and the best Brother (Xerox) printers my papers just keep on flying.

Cons: None so far. Ignoramus and tardiness sometimes come.

Other Thoughts: Brother Color Laser Printers prices are dropping like crazy. Rosewill got the color toners to match too. Found it on Newegg and cheaper than any amazing merchants. I am ready now to buy Color Brother printers with boxes of Rosewill color toners .

Pros: Installed and worked without any problems initially.

Cons: Started leaving blank streaks after only about 200 pages. Tried shaking cartridge and cleaning corona wire. Swapped drums with a good unit, same problem.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: This toner lasted 4 weeks before going gray. The Brother toner lasts us about 9 months before black turns to gray.

Other Thoughts: These toner cartridges seem like a scam based on how short the usable life was. Never by these. Never.

Pros: Price

Cons: Low yield ~ 900.
Quality of powder is so-so.

Other Thoughts: Got about 600 pages from this toner and got warning of low toner. ~300 more pages and it was empty.
Notice that there are no Rosewill TN420. But this TN450v2 is offered as replacement.
Low toner amount. At least it should be named correctly.

Pros: Low initial cost.

Cons: Low number of pages.
Warranty is worthless.

Other Thoughts: These cartridges had a short life in my Brother HL-2280 printer. They seem to last around 600 pages, about half as long as the original Brother starter cartridge, and far from the advertised 2600 pages.

I contacted Rosewill customer service. Their response was that since it was longer than 1 year since my purchases, that they would not do anything about their poor product. As is typically done, I had bought cartridges in advance of needing them, and since I print a low volume I was beyond 1 year when the short life became evident..

It looks to me like it would have been better to buy the genuine Brother replacement cartridge, which would be equivalent to 4 Rosewill cartridges.

Buy someone else's cartridges!!!

Pros: Easy to install!

Cons: Have used these replacements in past without problems. Just opened a new cartridge this am to print. Drum and Toner show bad. Cleaned unit and cartridge again as directed. Still defective. Will never buy again.

Other Thoughts: This is a quality control problem. Avoid these cartridges.

Pros: Yields very close to advertised page counts. Phenomenally less expensive than the OEM. Very low percentage of defective units.

Cons: Sometimes low toner light does not reset (can be fixed, see below)

Other Thoughts: I am a System Admin for a school, and we run about 20 of these printers. We've been using these toner cartridges exclusively since we bought them. I have only had one unit that gave me the light side printing with dark in the middle. When we first were testing if these were viable alternatives, I output a printer diagnostic page which reveals page counts and then ran another when the cartridge ran out. I did this on 6 different printers and had an average print count of about 2100-2200 pages per cartridge. While that is a fair percentage below advertised, the price per page is still very exceptional. With only one bad unit in at least 40 cartridges, this is one of the best buys in laser printers.

For those of you who have had issues with the toner light not resetting, here is how to fix it:

Open the front cover and leave open while completing the following steps.
- Turn the printer off.
- Hold the ‘go’ button while turning the printer on. All lights should be on.
- Release the ‘go’ button (or “start’ button).
- Press the ‘go’ button (or “start’ button) 2 times quickly.
- Pause. All panel lights should be on.
- Press the ‘go’ button (or “start’ button) 5 times quickly.
The toner light should be off. (error may be flashing)
The paper light should be on or flashing.
- Close cover. The ready light should be the only light on.

That should fix ya
