Pros: Price. Rebate (if it ever arrives).

Cons: Print quality falls short. Uneven darkness across width of page. This is the second time I have purchased this item, and had forgotten that the print quality was equally substandard the previous time.

Pros: Cheaper than the Brother-branded toner boxes

Cons: Didn't work. My Brother B/W document printer rejected the cartridge, claiming it was still out of ink. But it worked immediately when I finally caved and bought a Brother cartridge.

Other Thoughts: I would guess it's actually Brother's fault, they probably do their best to program their machines to reject off-brand toner, since that's a large chunk of their profit. But this was advertised as compatible with my printer when it obviously was not.

Pros: Recognized and works.

Cons: Short life span. I bought it last September as a backup. Put into use in Jan. Print outs got light and uneven quality in Feb. I print mostly non-essentials and low volume with this.I even use the toner save mode since the docs are not crucial. It is still printing but barely. Disappointed in the length of service this cartridge provided.

Pros: Low Price

Cons: Started leaking toner onto my printout on the left edge after 2 months with minimal printing.

Other Thoughts: It's not worth trying to return it. I bought another to see if it happens again.

Pros: none - did not work

Cons: I purchased a Rosewill toner RTCG-TN450V2 High Yield Black Toner
for my Brother HL 2270DW printer. When the toner was plugged into the printer, it was not recognized by the printer and the Toner warning light comes on indicating no toner installed

Other Thoughts: don't bother. stick with original replacement

Please do the following steps to reset the toner sensor.

1. Open the front cover and leave open while completing the following steps.
2. Turn the printer off.
3. Hold the 'go' button (or "start' button) while turning the printer on. All panel lights should be on.
4. Release the 'go' button (or "start' button).
5. Press the 'go' button (or "start' button) 2 times.
6. Pause. All panel lights should be on.
7. Press the 'go' button (or "start' button) 5 times.
8. The toner light should be off. (error may be flashing)
9. The paper light should be on or flashing.

Close cover. The ready light should be the only light on.

Pros: Inexpensive

Cons: Toner run out fast.

Other Thoughts: Don't beleived in the rebate. Send in on the last day and they say, it didn't make the deadline.

Pros: Works great and with the low low low price I paid, comapred Brother label product, I could not be more satisified with my purchase. Everything fit easily. Easy install. Don't play around with refill kits, this is the way to go.

Cons: Don't have any. We will see how many pages it prints.

Other Thoughts: This is a great product and you will not be unsatisfied.

Other Thoughts: This toner does not work for HL-2240D even though is it advertised to do so. I called Customer service for some assistance since I thought I may have been installing it incorrectly and they were completely clueless. The toner is entirely too small for this printer.
