Rosewill RTCG-TN360 Replacement for Brother TN360 TN330 Black Toner Cartridge Black - OEM

Pros: Exactly what I was looking for -- worked right out of the box. the blacks are even darker than before. Stop browsing for a better deal and do youself a favor and get this one.

Pros: My office tried the Rosewill toners last year for our HP printers. After we had a pretty good experience, we decided to give it a whirl on our brother machines.

So far so good. The price is much lower than original Brother and the print quality has been on par.

Cons: No complaints yet, if something happens I'll update my review.

Cons: * Leaves "dusty" artifact on each copy

* Solids are muddy and uneven

* Messy - Toner cast all over product

Other Thoughts: I have bought many OEM TN-360 toner cartridges in the past for my Brother HL-2170W laser printer, and they've always been solid products that arrived clean and functioned properly. Recently, Newegg had an excellent sale price on their compatible Rosewill TN-360 toner cartridges, so I decided to give them a try. Big mistake.

Right out of the box, the Rosewill TN-360 cartridge was covered in a heavy cast of black toner. There was no cartridge leak, so the cartridge was probably packed that way. I cleaned it off, placed it into the drum, and then into the printer. That went fine.

The real test is with the finished product produced by the printer. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the quality of the print. It was sub-standard and did not meet my expectations. I printed about 25 copies to see if the dirty cast on the printed pages would resolve, but it never did. I suppose the output is adequate if you're okay with draft-quality copy, but if you want a CLEAN, quality finished product, stick with the OEM TN-360s. The Rosewill TN-360 toner cartridges fall short. They're comparatively inexpensive, but at the end of the day, you get what you pay for.

Pros: Easy to use, as good as it gets

Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace the expensive brother TN-360 toner cartridge i paid over $50 for, which caused very uneven printing quality after just 3 months usage(average only 5 pages a day). It took me 10 secs to put in this and the printing quality is as good as it gets. For the special deal $15 on black friday deal, it's awesome!

Pros: Works

Cons: Substandard quality of the output.
Grayscale prints are noticeably darker than what is produced by the factory cartridge ==> this is not good as you loose detail and pictures become "muddy".
Quite pronounced banding (areas printed with solid grays or black seem to be composed of streaks running across page), most likely due to lower tolerances in manufacturing process.

Other Thoughts: This toner cart may fit a bill for printing text only, with understanding that output will be comparable to what most would consider "draft mode".
Any pages with graphics (images, business charts, etc.) make you regretful of your mistake.

Pros: None

Cons: Doesn't fit correctly and does not work in my Brother HL2140. Totally different design from original cartridge. Toner light on and printer won't print. Suspect wrong toner cartridge shipped in the box. I think I'm stuck with it.
First and maybe the last Rosewill product I buy.

Other Thoughts: Not happy.
