1 out of 5 eggsHP M601N Beware!!

Pros: None

Cons: I bought the HP M601N printer about 18 months ago and it has 14,800 total prints on it. This printer has a duty cycle of 175,000 pages per MONTH! I've already replaced the 8 GB SSD card in it and our problem continues. I think the tech guy said we would need to replace the formater board. What a piece of junk.

5 out of 5 eggsBeast Mode

Pros: This printer is a beast. What I love is the convenience of being able to put in a whole ream of paper, click print on 500 sheets, and come back in 12 minutes and it is done. For the price, I couldn't ask for more. Our office is currently printing about 25,000 pages a month on this machine. The ink lasts a very long time on toner saver mode.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsGreat HP Printer

Pros: Great HP Printer Have used it 2 years and are just getting ready to put in first maintenance kit.

Cons: Maintenance kits are a little high priced

Other Thoughts: Other reviewer that reports high capacity toners don't work is incorrect. All we have been using for the past 2 years is high capacity toner and been getting over 22K pages per cartridge.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Printer

Pros: Toner is 10,000 pages and if you go to ink technologies you can get replacement toner for under $50.

Cons: Heavy weighs like 50 lbs, but no big deal once you get it set up where you want.

1 out of 5 eggsWill not manual feed

Pros: So far none.

Cons: Will not manual feed without pressing the ok button several times at the printer. HP website horribly slow. Tried several drivers with no luck. Other owners complain of same issues and no fix that I could find.

Other Thoughts: We have had several other HP printers and this one has been the toughest to configure.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Network Printer

Pros: I have purchased a number of these printers for use in office suites where we are moving away from desktop printers. They print reasonably fast, are very reliable and reasonably priced. The only issue I've has is with the envelope feeder add-on which needs a lot of driver tweaking to actually print envelopes.

Cons: tricky envelope feeder

5 out of 5 eggsGreat work group printer

Pros: Fast printing, Linux support (both open and closed), can hold a whole 500 page ream.

Cons: Takes a little while to turn on

Other Thoughts: Over all great printer

5 out of 5 eggsAnother Great HP

Pros: As usual, it's another great HP workgroup printer. First page out is quick and print speed is terrific.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Boot time if long, but I never turn mine off so it doesn't affect me. The only thing I've ever needed to service on an HP workgroup printer are the rubber rollers (the kits are inexpensive) -- after a couple hundred thousand pages, they wear out. I wish I could say the same about HP's personal printers. Some were downright awful.
