1 out of 5 eggsBad Business

Pros: Its wireless and can connect through your home wifi to print. Also it is very easy to use.

Cons: It sucks up colored ink way too fast. I spent too much on replacing ink cartridges. It won't print in black and white only either. So when you run out of color ink with black still full, the printer is useless. I will not be buying another HP printer.

1 out of 5 eggsScam

Pros: Prints

Cons: Requires AND uses color ink to print black and white... scam to buy more ink cartridges

1 out of 5 eggsSingle worst piece of electronics I've ever owned.

Pros: It looks nice, I guess.

Cons: It is downright obstinate.

The ink, as other reviews have detailed, is a nightmare. I was eventually able to take a multi-meter to a cartridge and figure out how to rig empty ones that will fool the printer into thinking it still has color ink. It will now begrudgingly do me the courtesy of printing a black-and-white document every now and then, probably jams about one in four times.

That is, of course, after it has spent several minutes performing self-checks which it will impolitely inform you may not be terminated if you attempt to. (I take immense pleasure in ripping its plug from the wall at this point.)

Other Thoughts: It is almost worth it for the amusement of how bad of a product it is. Virtually nothing on it works as it should, the paper/envelope loading, scanning, wifi, auto-feed; all have their issues.

1 out of 5 eggsDo not buy

Pros: Do not buy this, it is my nightmare now. It wastes inks and inks cost a lot of your money, it needs color inks even you only print black&white. The printer will not print black&white if color ink is empty. Also color inks go empty every2-3 months even you never use it. Buying the printer means you go ink store every 2-3 months and cost you $70 or more

Cons: You got to have a lot money and times

1 out of 5 eggsAvoid - Get Something Else

Pros: It's a nice looking unit, and is from HP. It's wireless, and has a document feeder.

Cons: This is the worst printer I've ever owned.

1.> When it prints, even just as 'black and white', it uses up ink from all the cartridges at the same time. You never just replace the black cartridge; you must replace them all. (Google the unit, and you'll find a posting on HP's forums, from an employee, about this issue.)

2.> The printer takes forever to start up; at least 3 minutes when you first try to print something as the unit wakes up.

3.> Changing the cartridges is very easy, but the unit takes approximately 15 minutes to recalibrate after inserting new cartridges. If the unit hasn't been used in a little while, it also needs to recalibrate; this can also take an unreasonably long amount of time. It makes quickly printing something (directions, as you run out the door) impossible.

4.> The unit occasionally loses its WiFi connection/settings.

5.> Scanning quite often pulls in more than 1 sheet.

Other Thoughts: I would never recommend this unit to anyone, and would suggest that you look elsewhere.

1 out of 5 eggsWorthless

Pros: Wi-fi enabled.

Cons: Constant paper jams. Literally every page printed either jams, or fails to spool.

Overpriced ink.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor Design

Pros: It is just another printer

Cons: Poor design,To print an envelope you must first remove the paper from the paper tray and place envelope in paper tray, slide the width guides next to the envelope to make sure the envelope is in the center of the tray, then you can print envelope. Next you will need to slide the guides back out to replace your printer paper and hope you do not have many envelopes to do in a days’ time.
I will request a RA from Newegg.

Other Thoughts: I hate to put other thoughts here as someone under the age of 21 might read this page.

4 out of 5 eggsNot competitively priced at this writing

Pros: Wi-fi, touch screen, excellent menu, cloud printing, print/fax/scan all in one, small foot print

Cons: No wired network support, multiple in cartridges which is a pro or con depending on how much use it gets, priced a little high for it's features

Other Thoughts: It's OK for the price, but I've seen it priced a lot less so watch for sales. This unit should be priced under $100 to make it competitive for the features it offers.

1 out of 5 eggsWaste of money

Pros: Cheap.

Cons: Chews thru ink like there is no tomorrow. Uses the color cartridges even when set to print in black ink only. Can't print when the color cartridges are empty which happens at an alarming rate. On a per page basis is the most expensive printer I have ever owned.

Other Thoughts: Would give it negative stars if possible.

2 out of 5 eggsa resounding "meh..."

Pros: Price
Ease of setup
Auto-feed scanner and copier

Cons: No dual sided printing dialogue. You need to figure it out manually.

If you do not print with it everyday, you'll need to clean the print heads A LOT which is a waste of ink and paper.
