2 out of 5 eggsCan't use refilled cartridges

Pros: price
decent multifunction device

Cons: can't use refilled cartridges

Other Thoughts: H&P software makes the printer refuse refilled cartridges. You could refuse to update the drivers but if you use it wirelessly then you have a security risk on your hands.

After this experience I have a hard time imagining the scenario where I would buy an HP printer again.

1 out of 5 eggsunimpressed

Pros: Copies look fine.

Cons: 1. Takes a long time to re calibrate itself
2. and it happens frequently which
3. causes it to use a lot more colored ink.
4. So ink costs are imo, exorbitant.
5. Only accepts flat items to scan, i.e., single page items. Nothing else.

Other Thoughts: Am going to a black only laser printer which will be much cheaper in the long run.

5 out of 5 eggsHP 6700 Premium

Pros: Quick printing, 2 sided printing, easy scanning

Cons: no SD port. uses a lot of cyan

Other Thoughts: In the reviews others had trouble with the printer waking from sleep state, I have had it for a year and have not encountered this issue or any others for that matter.

1 out of 5 eggsPiece of Garbage!

Pros: It sure looks impressive and sleek. That's about it.

Cons: I don't even know where to start. I'm not a power printer at home, but every.single.time I try to use the printer, it's doing some other calibration or software update that takes 10 minutes to complete. It goes through the tiny ink cartridges it allows incredibly fast, and refuses to print black and white without ALL the color cartridges to be full. Speaking of cartridges, once you install it, it takes at least 5 minutes to run other tests before you can print again. It would just be nice if it would print when I want to print and not constantly give me the run around.

Also, the photo quality is not as good as my 8 year old copier/scanner/printer.

Other Thoughts: It's a huge waste of money. We HATE it, and if we had realized that it would be this worthless, we would have returned it right away.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: Prints are nice fairly fast.

Cons: INK HOG.
This printer uses so much ink even when you change the setting to just black and draft copies. In a week or so you will have to replace color ink even if you print in black only. Worst part is that you have to have color ink installed just to print. HP support refuses to acknowledge this flaw in the product. Just a scam to make you buy more ink.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy it. So much better on the market for your money.

5 out of 5 eggsTop of Line!

Pros: Fast, networked and prints from all 5 of my desktop computers I built for my kids, 3-i7's and 2-i5's. Also prints from my laptops and iPhones. Has it's own IP and email address, so I can print to my home, anywhere I am, on the go. From a friends computer, or from my smartphone. If has the ability of a top feeder, putting several documents on the top try, and have them feed through automatically. You can edit and print from a USB or a Micro card

Cons: The ink could last longer. I did find out, they do make the ink in two different sizes, so I'm going to use the larger one this time. If you don't have kids in school, the smaller ones should be fine.

Other Thoughts: I've had several printers since the 1990's, but this is my first, true "all in one" that I've ever purchased. I have mine set up as a fax, scanner, copier, printer, and wireless from my iPhone. A big plus is it has it's own email address, so when I'm out, I can send documents directly to my printer from my phone, or another computer, per se at a library, or friends house. I've never had any problems with it. The only thing I could say, which really isn't a con, is when you start it up, it goes through a cleaning and line-up, which takes a few minutes, but with the quality I get, it's worth it. I don't know how HP can beat the quality of this one.

Pros: still faxes and scans fine

Cons: Has problem seeing new ink also well only print 8 pages them says its out of ink stay away from this line have had to many quirky problems call hp and they blame it on the user I don't go out and spend 80 dollars on ink for it to not work

1 out of 5 eggsAfter 4 uses, Dead.

Pros: Wireless

Cons: Uses a lot of ink. paper jams constantly.

Other Thoughts: I bought this printer for to use for school reports for my son. After literally 4 uses in just over a year we got a printer failure error. After being on the phone they traced it back to the print head not communicating to the printer. Unfortunately my warranty was over by 14 days, and all HP was willing to do was give me $50 discount on the same product. Very disappointed in HP.
Asked to be transferred to U.S. agent and they said they could not do it.
