4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: fast economical works well

Cons: ink prices as with most printers.

Other Thoughts: Someone needs to invent a Linux ink operating style printer, Seems a shame this "designed obsolescence" society makes printers actually almost cheaper to replace whole system than just replace ink cartridge.

5 out of 5 eggsIt works

Pros: Home user here who prints maybe 1 ream of paper every two months. This printer works right out of the box with Windows 8. That what I wanted and that's what happened. I am happy.

Cons: None so far but I'm sure when it's time to replace the ink cartridge(s) HP will exact their standard, exorbitant toll.

1 out of 5 eggsA real disapointment

Pros: Easy setup. WiFi setup was straight forward.

Cons: The printer worked for only 3 days. I had only printed 4 pages when it stopped printing in color. It would only print black and grey.

5 out of 5 eggsCustomer is very happy!

Pros: Very easy to use, high quality images, flawless installation.

Cons: Can't seem to find any.

Other Thoughts: I installed this for a customer of my computer repair business. She is a beginning computer user and seems to have no issue working the printer or scanner.

3 out of 5 eggsRe: Refurbished 6520

Pros: Very nice quality color prints.

Cons: Printer was shipped with depleted ink cartridges.
Printer is about twice as loud as my previous Canon Pixma

Other Thoughts: Printer produces very nice color prints but the printer was shipped with depleted ink cartridges so I was only able to print HP's provided test photo and one of my own pics (both 4"x6") before the printer ran out of ink. Note that the included ink cartridges were resealed and repackaged as new even though they were empty. It's a bit of a bummer to have to buy ink cartridges before you can use your new printer and the cost of the cartridges may negate any savings obtained by purchasing a refurbished printer. Hence my 3 star rating of a printer that would get a higher rating if it had shipped with new ink cartridges. Perhaps Newegg should warn that refurbished printers may be sold with depleted ink cartridges.

1 out of 5 eggsBad from the start

Pros: Wireless.
Uses multicolored print cartridges . Replace only the colors used.

Cons: Jams frequently .
Poor HP customer service.
Software dominates system.
Confusing setup.
Printhead not in cartridge, but ink still pricey.

Other Thoughts: Printer failure after 3 months. HP techs are from India and work by script. Sent out a printhead caddy not for this model, only to determine it wasn't customer replacable. Asked for credit card before they would ship out replacement "rebuilt" scanner. Told them to eat it. Difficult software to install and it is pretty useless aid in troubleshooting. Will often freeze or lock up. May have been lemon, but HP tech support was the real clue to how sad HP has gotten. Kept asking for same information multiple times and didn't seem familiar with product. Kept reading from script . Moron asked me if part sent fixed the printer even though I just told him that they sent wrong part!

5 out of 5 eggsgreat all in one printer

Pros: wireless, easy set up, dependable, HP replacement cartridges cost less than competitors, high quality photo printing

Cons: none yet

Other Thoughts: Connected to a Rosewill router, various pc's/tablets running Windows 7, 8, and Android; Windows, Android, and Apple phones. I bought this for my daughter to use at college. I also own a 6510 (previous model) - purchased that printer about 2 years ago and it has never missed a beat.

5 out of 5 eggsHP Photosmart 6520

Pros: This is an excellent printer. I have had one for over 6 mo's and have had no problems. I have two laptops I use to print over wifi which is very easy to setup. It is connected to my desktop and the touch screen (4.5in) is great. This has work flawlessly do far for me. I work as an IT COntractor and System Support Tech. So I'm not in the dark when it comes to printers.. great buy.

Cons: Maybe one, the ink does run out of certain colors quicker than others, but you can replace those separately.

Other Thoughts: There is really nothing negative to say. I think HP hit the mark with this low cost but efficient inkjet printer. There may be a bit of bloatware for those who don't use photos much and need just business printing, but there is always plenty of creative options available.
