1 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Price. HP Instant Ink program for **potential** ink cost savings.

Cons: Unresolvable paper jams. Loses wireless connection. Low quality B&W pdf scans even at 200 dpi and large file size. Scan interface has virtually no image adjustment tools. Low build quality. Have not tried photo printing yet because of the jam issue.

Other Thoughts: I have two other brand budget MF machines and a stand alone sheet fed scanner that far outperform this OfficeJet 4630. I had significant software / hardware performance issues with HP about five years ago and I switched brands. After reading reviews elsewhere I decided to give HP a try again but I'm very disappointed.

1 out of 5 eggsNot dependable

Pros: Good size

Cons: The wireless is temperamental, I have to keep resetting. Also the ink cartridge keeps getting stuck and now it's not working at all. I bought in March and it is a home printer so it doesn't get used all that much and now I can't get it to work at all after less then 8 months

5 out of 5 eggs4630

Pros: Good price. Easy setup. Took about 10 minutes to go through basic setup and connect to Wifi network. Easy to install on all computers in the house.

Cons: No cons at this point.

1 out of 5 eggswireless, but tempermental

Pros: all in one for low price point
ink doesn't appear to be expensive
black (but what isn't?)

Cons: pain in the neck wireless setup
pain in the neck driver setup
won't print more than 30% of a picture (I hope what you want to frame is on the left...)

Other Thoughts: won't print more than 30% of a picture so it's 90% worthless to me. If I could have gotten it for $10 I wouldn't be upset. scans, and copies just fine. have no use for a fax so I can't say how it does with that. Wireless setup is far from intuitive. going to have to use a cable. won't install the drivers unless it sets up a wireless connection during install, won't connect to the computer for more than a couple of minutes without automatically disconnecting and shutting off wireless. so, no new drivers. The main reason for getting this was to use it with a laptop and be able to print off documents from anywhere within range, now it's anywhere within 6ft of the usb port. I'm extremely disappointed and will be contacting HP support. I'm sure that will be a treat.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Pleased

Pros: Unpacked and found this pretty easy to run out the box. Played around and got to the ePrint options to customize and share on the home network, then dove right in a printed 20 page document.

Cons: Wasted sometime installing CD when I didn't have to.
