4 out of 5 eggsInk4work ST-TN221BK Black Toner Cartridge - Good Replacement

Pros: - Drop In Replacement for OEM Brother TN221BK cartridge.
- Less Expensive than the OEM Brother Cartridge.
- Gives the same Black Density as the OEM Brother Cartridge.

Cons: - Unknown Life

Other Thoughts: This cartridge is an acceptable replacement for the OEM Brother TN221BK cartridge that came with a Brother MFC 9330CDW printer.

When the starter cartridge ran out, we purchased and replaced the Black Toner cartride with this Ink4work ST-TN221BK cartride. It was at least 30% less expensive than the OEM Brother cartridge. The Ink4work cartridge looks identical to a standard OEM Brother cartridge and went right in to the printer with no problems.

Test Page printing showed that the Ink4work cartridge had the same Optical Density as the OEM Brother cartridge. So far, there have been no issues with the image quality from this cartridge.

Cartridge life is still an unknown since we have not used up the cartridge yet. It has lasted longer than the "starter" cartridge. Since the starter still had a very significant amount of toner still left in it, I have to believe that there is a "limiter" built into the starter cartridges to prevent them from using the entire toner supply available. Another reason not to purchase OEM toner cartridges.

We are satisfied with the Ink4work replacement toner cartridges.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's toner

Pros: It's toner and it works

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I disassembled my original toner cartridge to find it still had a lot of toner in it. I had to replace the old cartridge because the printer gave me a hard time with low-toner warnings that were really annoying. There is a plug on the side of the cartridge that can be removed and more toner added. I think I'll try that next time the cartridge runs low. Then replace the cartridge only when the print quality starts to degrade.
