Pros: Cheapest member of the true X-Fi family.
Cons: Lacks X-Ram
Other Thoughts: Contrary to what some other individual's reviews on newegg say, this IS a true X-Fi card and DOES support EAX 5.0. This card directly replaced the XtremeMusic in the X-fi line up, which has been cause for some confusion. It is the XtremeAudio which is the crippled card that offers no hardware acceleration.

Pros: Easy hookup, great price and very LOUD!!!! lol
Cons: None, for me.
Other Thoughts: For those that are having issues with Vista....... DO NOT load anything from the CD that you receive with this card! Go to the Creative website and download the Vista drivers and other software. Mine works perfectly and the tons of settings make it even more outstanding.

Pros: The features, the looks, the price, newegg.
Cons: Ok guys, dont call me a newb, but I am having trouble hooking up my Logitech G51 5.1 speakers to this thing. I can't figure out how to plug the Logitechs to the card because they jacks and plugs are not color coded. AM I MISSING SOMETHING HERE?! I had no problem hooking it up to the onboard Realtek sound card, but I got this card to use it. I've tried contacting Creative's customer support, but a lot of good that did me....... Please, if anyone can game me some insight let me know. Thank you. P.S. the cables on my G51 are green, black, pink and orange. If you look at the pic of the card they dont not have those jacks.

Pros: Excellent sound for the price. The surround blows my mind while gaming and listening to music. Easy install, control panels are easy to navigate. Makes Bose speakers sound even better than what they do over onboard sound. The sound from this card makes my 60 yr. old mother jealous.
Cons: the driver issues are the biggest con. not really for me because i always look for the updated drivers. On Creatives web site you will find the drivers for Win 7. I had this Card before 7 came out and I got 7 the very first day so i had to wait for the updated drivers for this card.they came out about a week after Win 7s release. So those who say the drivers aren't there are lying!!
Pros: I didn't buy this on Newegg, but instead bought a factory refurb off the auction site for 40 bucks. Worth every penny. The sound quality versus my EVGA 750i For The Win's onboard is like night and day. Made my cheapy Logitech speakers actually sound good.
Cons: NONE!!
Other Thoughts: I was a little reluctant to get this card based on some of the reviews I have seen here on Newegg. I have an Nvidia 750i sli board and have had no problem with this card at all. Full specs are below:
