Pros: Worked right from the get-go. Easy installation.

Cons: Not any for me, works like intended with great sound.

Pros: Sounds great, easy setup

Cons: Speaker pooping sound on start up and shut down that wasn't there before. Doesn't seem to notice 5.1+ game settings

Other Thoughts: I don't know if this is just how it works, but unless I'm playing a DVD with 5.1+ there is no sound coming out of any of the other speakers. My on board would split sound to the other speakers.

Pros: simply, no fuss, works great. In Windows XP, loaded drivers from CD and was up in running in under 5 minutes start to finish.

Cons: None

Pros: Works for the intended purpose.

Cons: Was not bought for me personally. I installed this card on my sister's computer. I could see some limitations

Pros: The price

Cons: I bought this to deliver raw sound signal to my receiver through coax.It can't do that!It sends already converted signal and send it as PCM.If You want just to listen sound through 5 speakers,it's OK,nothing more.

Other Thoughts: I sent it back and after many researches I bought Radeon HD 5xxx video card that deliver raw signal to the receiver through HDMI.Works perfect.

Pros: Fast Newegg RMA'ing

Cons: Out of box, right front channel dead. I take it, they don't QA test? RMA'ing

Pros: Works fine installed on recent build using windows 7 64 bit with quad core processor no problem, seems to work fast

Cons: I can't think of any

Other Thoughts: Would recommend this drive to my friends and coworkers

Pros: Has a Via Envy24 audio chip. Big improvement over standard
ALC662 motherboard chip. Easy to use software interface. Excellent choice for HTPC because you can select speaker configuration; stereo, 6, 8, & 2+2. In other words playback in stereo or surround sound. Coax cable directly to receiver.

Cons: I haven't been able to get the front audio headphone jack to work yet. Not a great choice for running Ubuntu.

Other Thoughts: Solved my video card audio problem of no sound when I connect to a HDTV with a HDMI cable.
