- Pros: to you people complaning about the sound at shut down and startup this is not a flaw as many of you have ignorantly said, its just what happon when to cut the power on or off to an amp. every gutiar amp in the world does the same thing, but you dont have people saying its a flaw there,, cheap poor quality realtek sound does not do that because it dont not have proper amps and caps build it to the sound card.

It makes me become more addicted to my games!
Great sound quality, it blows away my 8 channel on-board audio.
Also, by using an audio card instead of using ur on-board audio is like taking a work load off ur processor.
I did notice that my OS loading times are now faster.
- Cons: "clicking sound" on boot-up & power down.
Requires 4-pin connector from ur power supply.
I dont have a floppy disk drive so I would say that this is not really a con for me but not that cool for others thats still using floppy's...
- Other Thoughts: Get a high quality speakers or headphones for excellent results.
- Pros: Excellent sound quality, blows away my old onboard setup. Works with no issues in Vista 64 or Win 7 64 as long as you use the up to date drivers and patch. Comes with every cable you could need to hook it up to an external amplifier or home theater receiver.
- Cons: Requires power from a floppy connector that can easily come loose while trying to seat the card.
- Other Thoughts: My old MP3's sounded pretty bad on this, go lossless or go home when using premium audio.
