5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for taking everywhere

Pros: with 2GB of space, and this kind of quality, it's great for vlogging, taking little videos, and i even use it for my youtube videos! it's pretty durable, except when you land on it as you fall off your bike XD so i'm buying a new one, but for $48 w/ shipping, it's a GREAT camera for it's price.

Cons: biggest problem... the power button is a little harder to push than the rest of the buttons, and in the cold (like 30º or below), the tints get really odd. but other than that, it's great.

Other Thoughts: Don't use it as a cusion when you fall of your bike XD.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Little Pick Up

Pros: Small, easy to operate and came with a rechargeable battery. Bought this as a gift for my teenage daughter and she loves it. Although it does not shoot in HD is has a very decent pic quality for the price.

Cons: The Battery could last longer. They could have included a wall plug with it, cause you have to charge it through your PC USB port.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Video Cam!

Pros: For the price this thing can't be beat. It's such a great thing to have around to capture those off-beat moments with friends and family.

The video quality is great for the price paid I couldn't ask for more out of the video.

The controls are very intuitive and anyone could use this which is a great plus

Cons: I wish it had the option for an external mic as the internal one is very lacking in my opinion.

Onboard memory could be bigger but with an hour of video it does encourage you to actually get the videos onto a computer =]

Other Thoughts: A great camcorder for the novice, spur of the moment person at a great price.

4 out of 5 eggsNice... if the price if right

Pros: Pretty decent video capture, although it won't make you want to throw out a decent video camera. Extremely convenient to carry around. Very simply to use. Relatively dirt cheap price... Good battery life.

Cons: No lens cover (be ready to clean smudges). Since there's no stabilization, videos can look pretty shaky. Videos get noticibly grainy @ lower light levels. Can't take still pictures.

Other Thoughts: I gave one of these to my 8 year old daughter for Christmas. I forgot my Sony videocam for a family Christmas gathering, so I used the Vado instead. I was surprised w/ the nice quality.

4 out of 5 eggsNice toy for $40

Coming Soon!

Pros: See Voodeux review from 5/18/2008 it provides the best description of this flip type camcorder.

Cons: Cannot take stills.

Other Thoughts: My first flip type of camcorder, I was pleasantly surprised. You need a steady hand to film. Think I will give it to the kids to play with.

1 out of 5 eggsVadonoto

Pros: Its a camera that does not do what it says it is suppose to. Not any better than my old super 8

Cons: Difficult to figure out settings, buttons did not work the way they said they would in the guide, buttons slow to respond, the picture is grainy on HQ setting, takes three hours to charge and it is just another trinket and for another $148 I could have got a real movie camera. This is nothing more than a toy. I gave it to my grandson. Worst $90 I ever spent

Other Thoughts: This was highly rated my PC World or one of those and somebody does not know what they are talking about. The movie is worst than my old Olympus 8080 which is a piece of junk. The picture gets washed out when shooting in sunlight and is marginal in low light

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for Teens

Pros: Surprisingly good screen clarity and low light efficiency. Makes really decent video at two different quality levels. Battery life is adequate and rechargeable.

The unit couldn't be any easier to use.

I helped my 13 yr old nephew choose a camcorder to buy with his birthday money. He just loves this little unit. It's small enough to put in his front pocket so he doesn't set it down and forget it somewhere like he might with a full sized unit.

It is a truly plug-n-play unit.

Cons: Newegg doesn't offer the accessory wires that make this unit much easier and more fun. First you need a six foot USB extension for easy computer operation and charging.

The second wire is offered on the Creative Labs site which allows it to play on the TV.

Other Thoughts: You get everything you can expect out of a camcorder for less than $100. It's ideal for the beginner YouTube film makers. It's both a toy and a useful tool that the kids really have a lot of fun with.

Download the free Avidemux video editing program and you have a complete package for teenagers and young adults.
