Rating: 3/5A little tough, but don't take it swimming
Pros: Can survive getting splashed a little bit, and a little bumping around. No delicate mechanically extending lens - the death of my last two dead little cameras. Decent picture quality, The best camera is the one that's there when you need it, and it beats the heck out of my camera phone.
Cons: NOT waterproof as advertised. Looking the design of the seal, and many reviews of drowned cameras, I would not even consider submersing it. Poor battery life. / Expensive battery. A spare rechargeable LI-ion battery is just about mandatory, budget an extra $35 for that.
Other Thoughts: Good low cost knock around camera for the price I paid $149. I take mine sailing & skiing, where it might get bumped around a little, or possibly splashed.
