Pros: Great size for compact cameras, plenty of pockets and well manufactured from high quality materials. With both the belt loop and the shoulder strap it is perfect for bicycling and hiking.

Pros: This camera is absolutely amazing for the price. I have several DSLR cameras and this compact camera is stiff competition for many of them. The image quality is better than I have seen on many prosumer cameras and I have professionally sold cameras and as a Certified Photographic Counselor for PMA (Photographic Marketing Association) I highly recommend this camera to both professionals and the novice alike. There are times when a DSLR is needed but the Olympus SZ-12 amazing will more than amply handle most lighting and scene situations. If you need to use it with studio lighting I recommend you use the exposure compensation with slave strobes. Again; Absolutely Awesome or some may prefer simply amazing. Whatever your choice, you can not go wrong with any of the Olympus SZ series cameras.

Other Thoughts: The Newegg price and service is second yo none.

Pros: Works great and takes nice pictures.
Cons: Wish it came with a flash memory card but I know most cameras don't come with them so not a big deal.
Other Thoughts: Bought this for my wife and she loves it. Was worried at first cause of the only review was a negative one but thats cause it came broken I guess but gave it a shot anyways on black friday $70 off regular price hoping mine won't be broken and so far so good.

Pros: Don't know the pros yet as I did not get to use it to know the pros really. The specs are promising though.
Cons: - DOA - Menu seemed kuldgy. - Lens was stuck with "Zoom Error" right out of the box - Flash does not pop-up automatically. So you may accidentally get blurry or dark images while trying to catch the moment. An extra step to take before you can get decent low light pictures.
Other Thoughts: Did not find short cut buttons for obvious things. I think you always need to step through the menu to set/unset things on the camera even for basic things like ISO, Marco Mode, Flash Mode, etc... The rotating dial is very useable.
