Pros: very nice quality photos, manual settings are great, nice camera to carry around if you are a photographer or even an average joe.
Cons: it uses batteries.
Other Thoughts: i would recommend purchasing rechargeable batteries lol

Pros: Very large display screen and very readable characters and settings. The many options are understandable and able to go right through to set everything up. Alot of selections and profiles to pick and choose from for different locations and lighting conditions. Alot of these options are configurable and tweakable. Software is very easy to install on WinXP pro and picture transfer was simple. I purchased a kingston 2 gig sd flash card for this camera so storage would not be a issue. When taking video with the 2 gig flash, it said i had 28 minutes of record time left. The video was very decent coming from a camera
Cons: I have yet to even read the user manuel for this yet!!!
Other Thoughts: Would be nice if the camera included its own case for the price that was paid for it. This is my 2nd digital camera and so far very happy with it. If buying this just get it over with and get atleast 2 gig of memory for it that way no worries about storage.

Great for wide angle
Pros: All the settings you could ever want; white balance, ISO, Manual apeture and shutter speed, exposure composition, and so on. Best of all a 28mm wide angle lens. Also has VR (which I generally have turned off as it seems to take more time for a picture to process).
Cons: A little bigger than I had anticipated. The options and flexibility can be tricky for novices as this is a point and shoot. I was so used to my past coolpix that I would just take it out of my pocket and take a picture- this camera requires a little more know how, but not a lot more.
Other Thoughts: A great pocket camera for family and friends and for those who dont want to lug around a bulky slr.
