2 out of 5 eggsSLOW

Pros: Cheap... that's about it

Cons: This camera is horribly slow. It's not at bad when it's new, but it will get on your nerves as time goes. You'll notice that if Nikon point and shoot cameras are not focusing incorrectly or flooding the picture with ridiculously bright over-flash, the camera is ruining the picture by taking way too long to take it. Don't try to be spontaneous with these things.

Other Thoughts: "It's lens makes it a Nikon..." Not really...

My 4 megapixel Kodak took pictures fifty times as fast that looked ten times better.

4 out of 5 eggsOk for the price

Pros: Good pics, small, uses AA bats and SD cards, overall nice little camera for the price

Cons: Slow to focus, a little cheap feeling,

Other Thoughts: I got this as a p&s for when my wife has our DSLR, and for when I am taking pics of hunting/fishing/beach...places I don't want to take a $1000 camera

5 out of 5 eggsPretty awesome camera!

Pros: Light wieght, pretty big screen, easyish menu's(takes a few to get use to them and figure out what does what, if your not reading the manual ofcourse) Picked this up with extra free SD card and carrying case, was highly impressed with the video taking abilities of the camera as well as the photos, uploading them both to your computer is a breeze and take maybe like 30seconds.

Cons: takes AA batteries.

Other Thoughts: I was a little iffy on getting red, but it looks pretty cool in person, its not as obnoxious as i thought it would be.

5 out of 5 eggsNikon Coolpix L-18

Pros: Bought this for my wife. If she could rate it at 6 stars, she'd do it as she loves the camera. Set up quickly.
Excellent lens clarity. Easy operation using conveniet buttons. Battery usage is about the same as any of our other digital cameras using rechargeables.

Cons: .NONE

Other Thoughts: Purchased from NewEgg where I got their usual good service.

5 out of 5 eggsWife Loves This Camera

Pros: I bought this for my wife before Christmas so she could use it on Christmas. She could not be happier with it. She pretty much loves everything about it. I keep getting the look every time I even think about picking it up to play with it. Her Grandmother liked it so much also that we bought one for her.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: First thing to do when buying any camera is to purchase rechargeable batteries.

1 out of 5 eggsnot worth the 100 bucks

Pros: Nice color red. Powers up quickly. No hesitation on shots so no blurry photos. Takes nice videos clips.

Cons: Burns batteries like the first models of digital cameras. Replaced with litihium batteries, but cannot use the lithium battery setting as it will run out of batteries almost immediately. So lithium batteries, but use the alkaline battery setting. Not sure if this effects anything, but it just a bug.

Takes inconsistent lighted pictures in auto easy mode. Some of the same shots with the same lighting taken immediately after one another have different lighting effects. Some washed out, some dark. Some normal. Weird, even a throw away cameras are more dependable.

I have to go to the manufacturer now (agghhhh) because I am just 2 days out of newegg's replacement only return policy. This policy might be a clue to the lack of performance and customer satisfaction with this product.

Other Thoughts: I had high hopes reading all of the reviews, and being very happy with the price I dove in. I just should have returned it sooner since the pics were not very good from the beginning.
I'm really bugged cuz I just got back from the Getty Museum in freezing cold weather with bad pictures.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great!

Pros: Takes clear pictures. Great camera simple to use and navigate. No red eye in any photos so far.

Cons: The batteries that came with the camera drained the night I recieved it. I was messing with its functions and getting a feel for it. Put new batteries in havent had a problem yet.

Other Thoughts: Should of bought it sooner
