Good pocket/purse camera
- Pros: - One of the few cameras that will take interval timed pictures (once every 30 secs, 1 min, 5 min, etc)
- Excellent optics for such a small form factor
- Large screen for slide shows and reviewing shots
- SD media compatibility for cheap memory cards
- Cons: - Settings are finicky and you must baby it to get sharp pictures or they are blurry
- Battery life is weak due to tiny size
- Macro mode could allow closer distance than 6-8 inches; this is annoying sometimes
- Other Thoughts: Please keep in mind that I have last year's model and so some info may be inaccurate, however I feel that this may be useful to some of you especially since these are universal features that tend to carry across model years. My S60 Red is a slow camera; I don't know about the 2008/2009 model.
Another reviewer reported terrible picture quality but did not say why. I think Newegg customers deserve to hear from someone that has owned one of these for quite some time as I have.
