5 out of 5 eggsBEST for the BUCK!!!

Pros: Newegg had it here in less than 24 hrs. from the order point!!! The zoom level is awesome and the field of view is great. While the image quality is not that of a true DSLR, neither is the expense or weight of something with comparable zoom. The image quality is certainly very close to that of high end DSLRs and easy to live with. With this camera, you get the best of both worlds....the easy menu settings for a specific type of shot, great ambiance, quality close ups and world class zoom, all without having to lug araound 10 lbs. of equipment and cumbersome lenses that stick out from the camera for MANY more dollars. Did I mention it was a beautiful red color? and....it fits in my camera bag.

Cons: The only real negative that can be attributed to this camera is really more a matter of timing and choice. Today, the images that this camera captures are quite honestly the best for the buck. Tomorrow they will not be, but that is the way technology works.

Other Thoughts: We have used many different digital cameras over the years Fuji, HP Nikon, Olympus, Kodak and were one of the first users back when 640x480 was the best you could get. Digital imaging has come a long way since then, but always we have found Nikon cameras to be among the best available.

4 out of 5 eggsVery nice, price and camera.

Pros: Its feature rich but you don't have to be an art kid to use it. Navigation through its features and menus is intuitive and easy.
its not a high end dslr but it would be hard to tell by the pictures it can take.

Cons: Not much for what you are paying. If the LCD was more flexible in what positions it could be in.......but not really anything to complain about.
