Great bang for your buck
- Pros: It produces good pictures at 7.1 megapixel. All the expected menu options and functionality at this price. Come on, are you going to find a cheaper camera with this quality?
- Cons: The included memory card is laughable. I take sixteen pictures and have to offload them to take more.
- Other Thoughts: Buy a larger memory card.
Good value
- Pros: Under $100.00 for this camera, and it is a huge improvement over the 8 year old camera it replaced. I don't use it for much other than just random photos, and it is just what i needed.
- Cons: None so far.

DOA right out of the box
- Pros: Wanted the Powershot A470 for Macro close up ability to replace Powershot A540.
- Cons: Camera was DOA right out of the box. LCD showed Blue Screen or Black/Grey with static. Swapped memory, batteries, etc. Still No Joy.
I expected a working camera with Macro capability, what I got was a waste of time and I had to run out and buy a camera locally to replace this item.
- Other Thoughts: 1st time buyer and I am not happy with being shipped me a DOA product. I wasted time and had to spend more to replace the camera as I needed it for work.
I will not be back.

great cheap compact camera
- Pros: Works great and takes very nice pictures. The price is very good for a camera like that. Batteries seem to last a decent amount so it's not bad at all.
- Cons: Sometimes it takes several seconds before you can take another pictures but it's not that big of a deal.
