- Pros: After one week of practicing I feel like a pro. With this Camera it has not taken a college education to use. I love its great quality Photos and Mov of the Grandkids and new puppies. See at littlnet sites. I use a 16g memory with the org. battery which has lasted over a week before it ran down. I use this camera daily.

- Other Thoughts: I should have bought the whole kit at first. My old hands are bit shaky. No fault of the camera. This site does not upload mov. format.
great photos
- Pros: Very pleased with the function, the HD video is great, play back on the HD Tv was been great. Also have had no problem with transfer of pic's or video to computer. I have been impressed with battery life after first full charge. Bought a back up non-canon brand battery just in case need for long days. Little time is need to start taking great photos, if you spend 10 minutes in the instruction you can do just about any thing with this camera.
Zoom, zoom, zoom and wide Angle.
- Cons: Camera shows shacking with using the zoom feature. You can adjust ISO to help steady the final picture. Even though I have had several photo's show the shacking symbol with full zoom the pictures came out great. No evidence of shacking. It is heaver then I thought it would be but the zoom lens does shrink down back into the camera well.
The pop up flash is a pain at times, would like to have seen it as a non-pop up flash.
Video play back volume is less then I would desire on the camera but great off the TV or computer.
- Other Thoughts: I have a 16GB card, no need to change out card. It is really a multifunctional camera. Remember this is not an ultra small camera. Heaver then the SD1100IS which my wife loves and helped me decide I need to update my own camera. After seeing my wife photo quality kill my Kodak, which replaced an older canon model that got plagued with desert sand.

Good Quality
- Pros: Great Quality pictures, high battery life, 10x Optical Zoom for those longer range pictures.
- Cons: A bit bulkier than the pictures? I still like the camera.
- Other Thoughts: Also, on the left side of the camera, the design of it curves outward in the front, the product pictures on newegg don't really show that it's there.
Wife Loves This Camera
- Pros: Great pics, substantial options, unbeatable optical zoom given the modest size of the camera, decent battery life
- Cons: Not so small that you can stick it in a pocket, you need to have a really steady hand (or some other means to steady the camera) to take full advantage of the 12X optical zoom.
- Other Thoughts: My wife owned a competing top-quality superzoom point & shoot and never really liked it. It produced great outdoor shots, but dark indoor pictures. This camera has a diminutive but remarkably effective flash, and the indoor shots are as spectacular as the outdoor images.
- Pros: This is a great buy, If you are looking for a all in one camera then get this one, between the high quality pics and video it takes and all the individual setting that you can customize there isn't a shot you can't take with this. Everytime I spend some time messing around with the camera I find out more cool features. This is my 4th point and shoot camera and it is the best so far.
- Cons: Can't Really think of any, The battery indicator was telling me I had a full battery when I didn't but I had already taken over 4 GB worth of video and pictures so by that point I knew that it was getting low.
