Great camera
- Pros: + The HD video is great. I was not expecting such a good quality.
+ Picture quality is good as usual in Canon Cameras.
+ Battery life is good
+ Lots of options to play with
+ Wide screen is really good
+ IS in ligthed conditions work nice. Took pics from a moving vehicle and they came out fine
- Cons: + Audio on HD is really bad. It captures a lot of noise.
+ No labels on quick settings menu
+ Pictures in low light condition are not that good, sometimes they get blurry
+ Face recognition is still a hit and miss option
- Other Thoughts: Got it for my vacation and i'm really happy with it. I took great pics, except the ones at night. I will probably get the new waterproof camera to take pics at the beach
Great Digicam from Canon
- Pros: Small enough, 4x zoom, Widescreen, HD Video (720p), Menu is pretty easy to learn, great battery life.
- Cons: No digital zoom in widescreen still photos, only digital zoom in widescreen video; HD video uses a lot of battery power.
- Other Thoughts: I use this as my everyday camera. I like having HD video capability. I would recommend this camera or the SD780IS (Smaller, but no 4x zoom) as they are mostly the same camera.
My family only buys Canon cameras, and have had very few problems. Canon has a loyal customer here.
Great camera
- Pros: picture quality, ease of use, size is small enough to carry around in your pocket.
- Cons: slow to take next picture (may be due to slow memory card), video quality is a bit grainy (didn't really buy this for being able to record video so not too suprised by the picture quality)
- Other Thoughts: A good all around camera, does what it's supposed to do, good quality feel. My son accidentally dropped it onto a concrete floor and the unit still works and is no worse for wear.
the Pictures are great, it's easy to use.
