The PowerShot SD1400 IS digital camera boasts a 14.1-megapixel image sensor for brilliant photos that stay sharp even when you crop or enlarge, and an impressive set of features so it's easy to make the best of every photo op! You can also use the SD1400 IS to shoot 720p AVI movies when you want to capture life in action. With 4x optical zoom, you'll be able to get into the action, even from the sidelines!
When you get home, you can print your photos directly from the camera or download them. The PowerShot SD1400 IS camera gives you sharp pictures with brilliant color, even if you're new to digital photography.
Pros: This camera takes amazing pictures in low light settings, especially indoors. Even with a basic storage card, the write time is fast. Face tracking works extremely well (the square(s) actually follow the persons face if they are moving around). The "auto" picture setting works great without having to spend excessive time choosing the beach, nighttime, etc. picture setting. The large LCD display is better for viewing pictures.
Cons: Cannot view a histogram while taking the picture to adjust for light settings, the camera histogram can only be viewed after the picture has been taken.
