5 out of 5 eggsGreat Camera

Pros: This camera was purchased for me and my wife by my mother in law because she owed us money, so I just told her I wanted this instead. Turns out to be a truly great camera. There are a lot of functions that take getting used to but it takes some very excellent pictures. I recommend getting a longer lense where you can zoom in farther for nature pictures but the lense that comes with it is alright. This camera is pretty equivalent to a professional studio camera. Buy this cannon and you will fall in love.

Cons: None that I can think of

Pros: I got this camera for my wife as a gift. She has absolutely loved it so far. It's a great upgrade for her from our last canon camera. I love canon cameras and probably won't purchase a different brand in terms of cameras.

Cons: Well it's not really a con but there are just so many options that it's hard from her to keep all the options straight.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a really nice camera yet not top of the line that will totally break the bank, this is the camera for you.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: -Fast
-Comfortable
-Button Layout
-Sharp
-User interface
-Options
-Resolution
-Price

Cons: -Plastic :P

Other Thoughts: Very well built camera, great ergonomics, and great photos! Feels great in the hand, not too heavy. I really do love the button layout after I got used to it; buttons are positioned in reasonable places to quick and easy access when you need them (ISO, for example). I especially love the screen size and design. Flat, unlike the T3i and the T4i. Very useful that the screen turns off when objects get too close to it. Unless you are keen on shooting lots of video, there's not reason to spend the money on a T3i or a T4i! This is a great entry level camera.

Pleased with the photos I've taken. Sharp, clear, large. Camera does its job, and really isn't too expensive.

Pros: Great beginners camera. Take great photos in auto mode, but really rocks on all settings above it.

Cons: Makes you want to buy more lenses.

1 out of 5 eggsT2i stopped working exactly a month after been received

Pros: Was good while working. I took the most beautiful pictures of the moon using a Celestron Nexstar 6SE. Excellent picture's definition... then kaput.

Cons: Started acting up 3 days before it completely died on me. Won't turn on even after installing new and fully charged replacement battery.

Other Thoughts: I should've paid attention to the reviews reporting the same issue.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Purchase! Fun Camera

Pros: This camera has been a great purchase so far! It works great right out of the box and takes awesome pictures.
Of course a new lens with better zoom is now on the wish list, but the lens that comes with it is pretty good for everyday pictures with much better resolution then a normal point and shoot.

Bottom Line, I would recommend it for anyone who is interested in a DSLR, and if you check often you can find great deals.

Another satisfied purchase from Newegg!

Cons: Although not bad, the lens that comes with the camera is going to make you want to go buy a lens with better zoom capabilities.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat Camera Only if it worked?

Pros: Great price and combo deal with camera Got 200 dollars off with an extra lens.

Cons: Worked for one day? Next morning wife got up to mess with it to learn to use it and starting giving a Error message on the screen would not do anything. Had to return it to newegg.

Other Thoughts: Would be great if canon support was worth talking to. All they wanted to do was REPAIR the Camera, WHY REPAIR WHEN CAMERA IS TWO DAYS OLD THAT MAKES SENSE RIGHT?
