5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Camera

Pros: Extremely versatile and powerful camera. Images are fantastic on auto mode and the ability to quickly interchange lenses is incredible. Moving up from a point an shoot, I can see the difference is night and day when it comes to photo clarity and light. In addition the ability to be able to rapid-fire photos (with a fast memory card) is clutch for catching the perfect shot.

Cons: Obviously the lack of a lens shouldn't be a surprise given the listing says "body only," but be prepared to spend an additional $100 minimum for a lens.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking at this camera you should be serious about making an investment. These systems, even if the body is a good price, add up to be rather expensive, but your photos will show it.

5 out of 5 eggsBest for price

Pros: -18 MP
-Flip out LCD
-Manual Audio
-1920x1080 24p Video
-Durable (Dropped ~2' onto concrete, couldn't even tell)

Cons: In camera filters are a bit cheesy, but who really uses those

5 out of 5 eggsJust purchased a second one!

Pros: If you are a photo enthusiast ,this is all the camera you need! I've owned a T3i for a year and just bought another for $499. Picture quality is incredible! Easy to learn and use.

Cons: Video focusing is hit or miss but all dslrs seem to have this issue. So I manually focus, video quality is superb .

Other Thoughts: Just be aware that this camera has a 1.6 crop sensor so buy your lenses accordingly. eg: if you use a 100mm lens the picture will be cropped as if you used a 160mm on a full frame camera.

5 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Very nice colors, Glossy finish, HDMI, fast response, no ghosting, and looks VERY sexy B)

Cons: The screen kind of looks liket here is moisture on it, and the speakers are TERRIBLE! Unquestionably the WORST speakers ive ever heard. My phone speakers are better...But then again what monitor does have decent speakers?

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome camera

Pros: Everyone loves the pictures from this camera, the video is stellar too, unbelievably breathtaking shots I got from this camera. I can't believe what I had been missing all along. I"m so happy I bought this. I love the ergonomics of all the Rebel cameras, and this one is jam packed with features and easy to use dial tips that pop on the screen that basically make you a semi pro instantly.

Cons: Wish I could have afforded this sooner.

Other Thoughts: It's a Canon and a Rebel, get it, you'll love it. Couple this camera with a nice lens and you'll be amazed at what you can do with it.

1 out of 5 eggsDEFECTIVE AFTER 5 MONTH USE!

Pros: works ad advertised.
great camera.

Cons: AFTER FEW MONTHS OF LIGHT USE, IT BEGAN TO TURN ITSELF OFF. I AM USING GENUINE CANON BATTERY FULLY CHARGED. (works fine on another camera)

BECAUSE IT SHUTS ITSELF OFF AUTOMATICALLY (BY ITSELF), I MISS THE MOMENT TO TAKE THE PICTURES VERY OFTEN.

BECAUSE IT SHUTS OFF RANDOMLY, SOMETIMES THE SHUTTER DOESNT EVEN CLOSE CORRECTLY. VERY INCONVENIENT.

I BELIEVE THE CAMERA IS DEFECTIVE.

Other Thoughts: WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THIS PRODUCT REPLACED OR REFUNDED.

5 out of 5 eggsAWSOME camera

Pros: makes taking any photo an easy shot. Most low light shots need a flash unit unless your indoors. very high detail extra large image size.

Cons: The 18-55mm is good but needs support from good filters. I can't put it down. Battery need to last longer also. you can get 200 pictures per battery but then you run out of juice.

Other Thoughts: yeah get a 16gb or larger for this camera on the highest settings for an 8gb card you get 208 pictures.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: Bought this for my wife for Christmas as she takes hundreds of photos with a point and shoot each month...and often the best ones end up blurry or otherwise compromised. Of course I took it out to make sure everything worked and was blown away at how easy it was to take great shots while frankly not knowing what I was doing.

Cons: A DLSR seems at first to have an overwhelming number of knobs, switches and buttons...But Canon made it so even a non-photographer like me could get going quickly.

Other Thoughts: Got a great deal from Newegg as always and scored some nice freebees too. Shipping was fast. good stuff.
