Short delay between pictures. Very compact, but plenty of features. Cons: Had a "lens error" after 5 uses. Looked this up online and found that this usually occurs if the camera is dropped with the lens extended or due to dirt. Cons: The retail box came slightly crushed on one edge, makes for lackluster gifting (-1 star). The camera lenses still come peeking through a square hole on these smaller cameras, making it difficult as usual to clean. I really miss round SLR lenses! Other Thoughts: "Intelligent" autofocus takes some getting accustomed to, otherwise use the P mode as mentioned in another post, which behaves more like a Powershot. 5 out of 5 people found this review helpful. Auto setting for easy pic taking, many custom settings available for more experienced photographers. Reduced need for flash indoors due to a new sensor. Clear pictures with good color, good anti shake ability. Very quick start up. Nice easy to use camera. Cons: It's auto focus decides what to focus on and may sometimes not pick the spot you want. You can change to P mode and select center focus for times when this happens. Bright flash. Best suited for smaller hands. Very large hands and it may be too small for you. Other Thoughts: Canon makes the best cameras. This is another in their long line of quality products. Newegg has a good deal on price and a free case and sometimes a free memory card.
