Fujifilm's FinePix A700 Silver is a compact, highly affordable camera stuffed full of useful features. It carries an amazing 7.3 Megapixel Super CCD sensor, and 6.3X Digital zoom for truly precise detail. It has automatic ISO settings up to 400 for true to life color and clarity. It has a 2.4" LCD Monitor to help frame your shots and for playback.
The camera has an internal 12MB memory to use should the xD-picture card become filled before you can find a replacement or download. There are 4 shooting modes to choose from -- Portrait, landscape, sport and Night Scene. The movie format records at 10fps. Canon has placed some of their top of the line technology in this highly affordable, easy to use compact camera. It provides exceptional image quality for the price.

The Best For the Price
- Pros: One of The Best Camera's i Have gotten my hands on The 7.3 Mp makes the Picture really Clear and the Video Modes and very Nice. The 2.4 Inch lcd work great ^_^
- Cons: It only has a 3x Optical zoom so you can get a good close up
- Other Thoughts: I would Get alteast a 512 stick of memory when getting this because it dosn't hold many photo's without it
Excellent buy.
- Pros: This is an excellent buy. Ignore the previous commentor, he must be one of the people who doesn't know how to read a manual.
- Cons: None at all. My parents bought this for me for Christmas after reading thousands of comparisons and Consumer Reports, and this was the overall best.

If you read the manual, you would know that gently pressing the button only FOCUSES, you must press down fully one time right after that, and hold for half a second... then it will take your picture. It does not take 3 seconds, and it has worked beautifully whilst taking pictures of my cat and my family.

Gotta Luv It!
- Pros: I've had this little jewel since early this year and have had the pleasure of using it for all sorts of things. At college I found out in the lab it will even take a great picture through the microscope eyepiece! The photos are so clear even when enlarged 8x in a photo program they're amazing.
- Cons: The only thing that bugs me is that you have to keep changing the AA batteries. Face it each photo averages 1.5MP which = a very clear picture! Easy to change!
- Other Thoughts: Excellent for the money.Be sure to take extra rechargeable AA's along.Please note that this camera has a 3x optical + 4x digital zoom as well as "macro"! Also take the time to really look over the functions. You'll find that there is way more to this camera than meets the eye. I Love It!
Great Camera
- Pros: Great camera the family all uses it, and they all love it. Takes killer pictures.
- Cons: Hard on batteries, invest in rechargeable batteries. Doesn't hold many pictures if you use the higher image settings. But hey, I guess that's to be expected from a digital camera, right ?
- Other Thoughts: Seems to be a good camera. We have a couple of young girls and they use this thing all the time, even take it to school with them. I've been looking for them to come home with it in pieces, but that hasn't happen, so it must be pretty durable. :-)
- Pros: Excellent Camera - easy to use - takes great pictures. Small and easy to carry in your shirt pocket. Might want to purchase the Olympus XD 1 GB Picture card ($25 from Newegg). Uses 2 AA batteries which is a definite plus.
- Cons: None -- great camera for the price.
