Digital Image Stabilization! 10X Optical zoom and 4.8 digital zoom, for a combined 48X zoom! More shooting selections than you can imagine, via the huge LCD viewing screen! WOW! Get quality pictures for a fraction of the price of the higher-end SLR cameras! Shooting modes will cover everything from candle light, to fireworks to a day at the beach! I'm in love with this camera
- Pros: The image stabilization is awesome. I'm a guy with huge hands, and I have never been able to take a picture with a camera without having it blur.
But with the S700, for the first time every pic I take looks perfect. I almost feel like I could do this for a living.
The S700 is just so easy to use right out of the box. Experienced photographers might not even need to use the manual.
Forget the digital zoom in other cameras. This one has a 10x optical zoom. A big plus for me was that the camera holds 4 batteries. That makes a huge difference when it comes to taking a lot of pictures.
I forgot to get a larger memory card though, so I am waiting for the 2gb xD type H card.
Fujifilm's website makes not of the SD cards as applying a constant drain on the batteries when the camera is not in use.
This is solved by using xD memory. Don't worry about the speed, either. SD memory may have a theoretical speed of 20mbs, but in reality are much slower. xD type H is as fast as the camera needs.
- Cons: None whatsoever.
- Other Thoughts: For me, this camera exceeded all my expectations. Fujifilm hit a home run with this one.
Great camera
- Pros: All the features a normal user could want, lightweight, low shutter lag, 10x zoom w/ image stabilizer
- Cons: Won't fit in your jeans pocket, I guess.
- Other Thoughts: I've taken ~150 pictures and several videos from 30 seconds to 3 minutes long and have yet to need to replace the original batteries

- Pros: Great picture quality out doors! Great zoom!
- Cons: Poor quality indoors, bulky.
- Other Thoughts: I have been using this camera for 8 months now. When it comes to taking pictures outside it takes amazing pictures, however when you're inside think about switching the camera. The indoor pictures tend to be more blurry and bleed more. Out of a scale of 1 to 10 as 10 being the greatest, outdoor - 10, indoor - 3.

- Pros: Zoom is great, Really easy to use. Has a great point and shoot or if you are advanced great manual features.

- Pros: excellent camera for the $$$ ,when i purchased this camera i didnt expect much for the $$,but i was happily wrong with this that assumption,it has easy to understand optoins, takes great indoor and out door pics., eaven takes short vidio,w/27MB of built in memory, you just cant beat the price !!!
- Cons: shipping was a little slow,gas prices an all ! , lol , i now see its eaven cheaper then when i purchased it,oh well, thats life, lol
