5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: This is a very nice camera, Newegg's pictures don't do justice for the actual look and feel of the camera. The zoom is very nice and so is the menu features. Simple to use and easy to understand(great for the wife). Works Well in low light, It was the first thing i tried when i received the camera. I would purchase another one of these anyday of the week.

Cons: Nothing, Wonderful Camera for the Everyday Use

Other Thoughts: Newegg comes threw again

4 out of 5 eggsNice camera

Pros: Nice display, easy to use, lightweight, holds it's charge for a long time. Fits nicely in shirt pocket

Cons: shutter cover doesnt always come together

Other Thoughts: For the price its a nice camera that is inexpensive, you will need to get a memory chip though, but that's prettty cheap too.

3 out of 5 eggsOkay, but was expecting more

Pros: This camera has a wide angle lens (= to a 35mm film lens) which is excellent for being able to capture more of the scene you are trying to photograph. This is the main reason I bought this camera.

Cons: Unfortunately, Fuji has joined the megapixel race and the super clear 6MP sensor they used in the F30 and F40 is now gone. This 8MP sensor in this camera does not compare to the old 6MP one. Every indoor shot I have taken has a lack of detail and some noise. Even when using manual mode to force ISO200, there is noise (grain).

The flash is often overpowering and washes out the subject.
I don't think I was 100% pleased with any of the pictures I have taken with this camera yet.

Other Thoughts: I also have a DSLR and a 2 year old nikon point-n-shoot that I use regularly that is starting to have focusing problems in low light (dropped it a few times though, my bad). My 2 year old point and shoot camera takes sharper pictures than this fuji does. I had high hopes for this little camera, because it has a 28mm lens, but it looks like I will still be searching.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very good little camera. Wide angle works. Good picture quality. Battery lasts almost forever. Newegg rocks!

Cons: Low light not as good as others in this class. If you need wide angle and are willing to give up a little on the low light end, this is the compact camera to buy.

Other Thoughts: On/off button is recessed so you don't push the wrong button when you are trying to take a picture.

2 out of 5 eggsBelow-Average Camera, takes noisy pictures

Pros: Big screen. Easy to use.

Cons: I am not at all please with the quality of the photos in any of the automatic modes. The only way I have been able to get decent photos (a minimum amount of noise) is to set the ISO manually to 200. The higher I set the ISO, the worse it gets. All the auto modes seem to use ISO800. If you use the stabilizing mode, your pictures are going to be very grainy. My 5.1 megapixel Canon Powershot takes much clearer photos. If NewEgg politices would allow it, I would return this camera.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Buy

Pros: Huge screen to see pics after taken, As soon as you hit hte button it instantly takes the picture, Ultra clear pictures even when blown up, Price is excellent as is newegg shipping. Small size and weight.Battery life is very good. Shoots in JPEG format for easy vidieos. All in all an impressive camera.

Cons: When taking night or bar (X-mas party) shots in low light the flash has a semi-limited range (although i didn't have it set for low light/ fixable?). After taking a pic it takes about 2 -3 sec for pic to appear on screen.

Other Thoughts: I would buy this camera again and more than likely will as a x-mas gift. It works awesome and is a great deal for the money. If you are considering it I do not think you will be dissapointed. I use my pics in photoshop and the quality of 8mp is great for editing. Get it, and thanks Neww egg

4 out of 5 eggsGreat camera for the price

Pros: Clear pictures, large bright LCD, rechargeable battery that lasts forever, SD (very inexpensive cards right now).

Cons: No face recognition (even though I don't know of any cameras in this price range that do). Also the flash isn't that bright if your doing dark night shots from a distance. This however doesn't bother me because it saves battery life. I have only charged the battery twice since I have had it and I use it every other night when I go out.

Other Thoughts: I'm a college kid with not too much cash to spare, so I was pretty picky when choosing this. I had a gift card to a local place so I went there and had it down to this, HP Photosmart R742, Sony Cybershot S700, Nikon Coolpix L14, Canon Powershot A560, and the Samsung Digimax S600. This seemed to have the nicest LCD and the shots were the best contrast of any of the others. All of them had near the same quality pictures indoors, but this seemed to take the clearest and best looking pictures of all of them. I then bought a Transcend 2gb SD card and now I am good to go. I would recommend this camera to anyone on a budget, and to also look at the Nikon Coolpix L14 and HP Photosmart R742.
