4 out of 5 eggsGreat Point and Shoot camera

Pros: This is a great Point and Shoot Camera. I transitioned from a Nikon to this FujiFilm, and was impressed. While FujiFilm does lack the lens quality of the "top of the line" brands, the features you get in this camera more than make up for it. The Manual setting allows you to adjust ISO, and tinker with other settings, perfect for someone semi-interested in real photography but does not have the money for a SLR or D-SLR. (I'm not saying the image quality is that of an SLR, it's still a point and shoot camera). It's got enough features to keep a
The low-light sensitivity is outstanding. It automatically adjusts up to ISO1600. Great for small indoor areas where a flash would produce wash out.
I've now had this camera for 6 months, and it's still working like brand new, and I still feel like it's as good as the brand new ones out there.

Cons: One thing I've always disliked about any gadget is having a non-standard battery. Recently while on a day trip during vacation, the battery exhausted. You can't just buy a couple double-A's and get back to taking pictures. I had to put my camera away and wait until I was back near an outlet and my charger. Definitely a big CON for me. (The reason for the 4-star rating)
That being said, the battery meter seems to be better than most, if it says you have 1/2 battery power left, that seems to be accurate. And the battery meter is always there, it doesn't pop up only when the battery is weak. You can tell at a glance whether your battery is full.
I know that a Lithium Ion battery saves a ton of weight and space, but this is an area that REALLY needs some standardization industry-wide, not just with Fuji.
The card reader not only uses Fuji Cards, but also SD cards. Thankfully they realized the importance of standardization on that feature.

Other Thoughts: A great value. It does everything it says, comes with a LOT of features, produces great pictures indoors, outdoors, low light, etc.

The included software is a drag (as is most software bundled with cameras), I gave it a try, but quickly uninstalled it and just manually download pictures from the camera.

I would definitely buy one again.

PS, don't shell out for the Fuji Film card if you all ready have a standard SD card, it will read/write to SDs just fine. (Thank you standardization).

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Camera For The Price

Pros: Small, very easy to use. This camera takes great closeups of flowers and even butterflies! It works well in low light situations-even got a good shot of the orange moon during the Calif fires. It fits in my purse and has never accidentally turned itself on. I wasn't looking for video, but it takes great video too! Absolutely a great deal for the price!

Cons: The supplied software installs Quicktime automatically and doesn't give you the chance to say no. It takes a tad longer than I'd like to snap the photo, but I just bought a faster card (SanDisk Extreme III 8GB) and have high hopes for quick shooting. I had to look in the manual to find the USB port - it's well hidden. Of course, my eyesight ain't what it used to be!
The flash comes on when it doesn't really need to and washes out the pic. Turning the flash off gets a great exposure!

Other Thoughts: If you ask someone to take a pic for you, show them the button to press - one of my friends pressed the video button and didn't realize it. But, all of his *itching about the battery being dead and the camera not working is now recorded for posterity! I love this little camera and am very happy with it. It takes pictures comparable to or better than my Canon AE1 35mm 28/80 + macro. Highly recommend!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Camera - Great Deal

Pros: Very small design that fits easily into my pocket. Picture clarity is fantastic. Camera has many features including rapid fire shooting. Rechargable battery lasts for quite a while before needing a recharge.

Cons: Like the previous review says. The lens placement is in an upper corner so finger shots are common. I guess it will just take a little adjustment to avoid that.

Other Thoughts: The feel of the camera is a nice sturdy, yet compact design.

5 out of 5 eggspocket sized with good pictures

Pros: I wanted a camera that was small that I could carry in my pocket. It takes nice picture and is easy to use. It has many features with onscreen discriptions of when to use them.

Cons: The shutter lense is in the upper corner, when holding the camera with two hands you can take pictures of part of your finger easily. It takes getting used to for proper finger placement.

Other Thoughts: Colors of camera's are much brighter and better looking then the online pictures show.
