Bang for your buck

Pros: Good response time. Great picture quality. Can do relatively fast action shots.
I have not had this camera all that long, but in the time that I have had it there have been a lot of action shots in the house under multiple light conditions that come out fantastic on EXR setting (auto picture taking). The low light and action shots come out very nice for this price of camera if you are a point and shoot auto setting type of person. The camera is small enough to keep in a pocket yet powerful enough to catch a child running with great clarity.
The different options for camera settings are great for those vivid moments and also works well if the sun is shining through a window behind a person to develope more than dark spots around that person.
Boot up time is approximately 3 seconds and the auto face detection works well.
Good size screen. Battery seems to last a long time even at top pixel and lots of viewing of photos.
Cons: Rechargeable battery- too bad, it would be kinda nice for the person on the go to just change batteries if they are low, not really a con, but my preference.
Wouldn't mind a little farther zoom on this, but that's not all the big of a deal, I did not want to step up to an SLR size camera for the 15X feature.
Other Thoughts: If you don't read the instruction manual you will never know the full potential of this little wonder, so you need to spend a little time learning, but it's worth it.

Pros: Great camera overall; manual mode opens up many options but so far I've stuck with the automatic modes as they have produced excellent results thus far; excellent low light level photos with or without the flash
Cons: battery isn't as good as with my old F20, but it's not nearly as heavy; proprietary cable hook-up is annoying;
Other Thoughts: at least fuji stopped using XD cards exclusively but remains backward compatible

Grear low light camera

Tech Level Tech Level: average - Ownership: 1 week to 1 month
This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: I've only had this camera a short time. I've been trying it in the same situations I used my Nikon S51 Coolpix in. NO comparison. This camera can find light for exposure that the Nikon couldn't. Using it in EXR mode is effortless. I'll be going a wedding soon and wanted a camera that could take quick pictures in available light. The Fuji is going to be great. In all but the darkest shots the flash never has to come on. The camera also has lots of manual settings and a ton of scene settings for just about every situation you'll encounter. Outdoors it takes vivid bright pictures too. I used to think of Fuji as a 'plastic' camera you gave to someone for a birthday present. Not any more! I'm loving this camera.
Cons: As someone stated before, the paper manual is not too good but the CD that comes with is some thing that you should take the time to go through. Also, it's hard to take the camera out of a pocket without getting fingers prints on the LCD display. Minor problems
Other Thoughts: This camera has giving me new respect for Fuji. If you're looking for a great low light camera or a great all aroung camera this camera should be on the top of your list to check out.
