Warning about buying recertified
- Pros: Great camera for the price but I suggest buying it new rather than recertified.
- Cons: Recertified means you'll probably be missing stuff like the USB cable or the lens cap. In my case I was missing the lense cap. You would think this wouldn't be too big of a deal but it is; Fuji doesn't sell lens caps for this model and they don't even know what size the lens is which makes buying a generic lens cap hard. I was transferred multiple times until I finally gave up. I measured the lens myself and assuming I measured it right you'll need a 49mm PUSH ON lens cap. Clip on won't work because the camera doesn't have threads. I've since ordered the cap online and I'll try to update this review on whether it fits correctly when I get it.
- Other Thoughts: My first experience with Fuji was horrible. They transferred me multiple times to the wrong departments and weren't nice at all. At one point I was told to contact another number which ended up being a banking number. The camera itself seems good but I'm nervous about the lack of support by Fuji. If anything goes wrong I fear Fuji won't stand by their product.
