If you want a compact digital camera that offers easy-to-use features, amazing image quality and a slim go-anywhere design, the Fujifilm FinePix F80EXR is the camera for you.
The Fujifilm FinePix F80EXR incorporates a high-power 10X zoom lens in a slim, stylish body, together with an enhanced selection of automated functions. The generous 3.0" display allows for convenient framing and reviewing every crucial moment. Designed to make it easy for anyone to master the digital camera's three basic functions - "shooting, viewing and deleting", this camera is simple, fun, and friendly.
Pros: Works just like advertised. Check out the web site of Fuji. Best digital camera ever. Folks this has an EXR. Works as a point and shoot but also works in manual mode too! And it does HD video contrary to what some folks write about. Great optical x10 zoom. Big LCD screen. Very intuitive once you have read the manua. It also has facial recognition for people and dogs and catsl
Cons: Battery runs down fast but I got a second one free with the camera!I would have preffered this one in red but was not available on this site.
Other Thoughts: Put in a class 10 SDHC memory card as it will speed up your writing time. You have to read the manual and clarify the specs but I guess not every person does that or understand that manufacturers wrote those for a very specific reason.

Pros: See my previous review
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: In my previous post I mentioned as a "Con" that the camera did not ship with a separate battery charger. Incorrect!! I checked my box and there the little guy was. So I basically have to say that there are no "cons" to this camera. Oh, and did I say how tiny this little camera is? Not much larger than a Canon Elph and very much pocketable.

Pros: This camera has an amazing amount of setting to toy with, and is definately not for beginners. It takes a quality picture when the settings are correct for the environment. Again, do not consider this a simple point and shoot; you are getting much more than that here. There is a point and shoot "mode" which automatically adjusts everything on the fly. This thing is small and feels sturdy. It weighs more than it looks like it would. Takes quick pics, and is easy to handle. The menu system is easily navigable for all the settings. Battery life is good, and paired with an 8gb SDHC, you can rack up about 1700 pictures on the highest resolution (~11200 on 3mp 4:3 raito low setting)
Cons: Even on auto modes, if you dont know what you are doing, you will get ISO grain.
Other Thoughts: Overall this is a great camera for someone who knows a decent amount about photography but does not want to carry around a DSLR, OR wants this to compliment their DSLR :)
