Succeeding the highly successful "Four-Way Protection” XP10 compact digital camera, the FinePix XP30 offers more compelling specs and a feature set that will ensure outdoor loving photographers or adventure sports enthusiasts are well catered for. In addition to its enhanced, rugged build quality, the FinePix XP30 sports GPS tagging in an outdoor model. The built-in GPS functionality not only tells you where you are in the world, it also offers additional functions that are essential for outdoor shooting. Locations can be displayed either as longitude and latitude or by place name.

The camera also features 14.2 megapixel resolution with an impressive 5X wide angle zoom with optical image stabilization to shoot sharp images in any conditions. The 2.7" clear LCD is shielded by a shockproof bumper and the zoom lens is securely sheltered and protected by a strengthened glass lens cover. Cons: Directions right out of the box are very limited to say the least. I reviewed the camera and put it in a case right away and installed an 8gb memory card. I took four pictures. two were as I entered the pool and the next two were in 3 foot of water. The camera filled up with water and was destroyed. I had to buy a throw away camera for the rest of my vacation. PIECE OF JUNK!!! Other Thoughts: Don't waist your money! Pros: Newegg had a great price! It looked nice!

Cons: Directions right out of the box are very limited to say the least. I reviewed the camera and put it in a case right away and installed an 8gb memory card. I took four pictures. two were as I entered the pool and the next two were in 3 foot of water. The camera filled up with water and was destroyed. I had to buy a throw away camera for the rest of my vacation. PIECE OF JUNK!!!

Other Thoughts: Don't waist your money! I almost didn't get store credit since I returned from vacation after 31 days...
